Is there any reason why this ability STILL does not have a red flare indicator on it's dropping location?
it does not fit in line with other bombing strikes and strafes in this regard, there is not much else to be really said.
The audio que actually starting takes around 3 to 4 seconds to play, which means you're going to have to react FAST to avoid team weapon deaths, even then, you have absolutely no idea where it's ACTUALLY landing, i have witnessed my ally losing several squads because this ability was thrown on the retreat path instead of frontline, funny to witness, but still.
Opponent lead his strike by 6-7 seconds and you go on the forums and push for a nerf? How many times have you hit a retreating squad with a dive bomb? |
You don't even need to rely on scatter shots. Both 17pdr and pak43 have 80 range, which is enough
Ah yes you are correct.
Axis is easy, I didnt play as them because they are easy, lost most games with them because I never played as them and dont know how to play as them, but they are easy, if I actually knew how to play as them I would have been rank 20 because of how easy they are.
I've been doing it wrong the whole time, ggwp

At rounds can scatter across the map (very rarely). I've had a pwerfer get popped from way past 60 range. It wasn't even the target 😂
I've had a pak hit a katy in a similar manner, ground attacking something else and scattering through a hedgerow. |
It is, all my units are crazy powerful and versatile, you legit have shock infantry at the start as OKW. They all barely bleed, and I always have a surplus after mid game that lets me replenish any losses I may have had.
You haven't played okw in at least a month and you've lost way more games than you've won with ostheer.
If it were so easy I'd guess you would actually have decent stats but you don't. |
I don't play Axis because I barely have to micro. It's legit boring.
Ridiculous. |

There is a clear difference between the high level and the rest of us. This game is constantly balanced in favor of the high leveled, so about 5% or less of the playerbase. Do you see a problem with that?
I don't see a problem at all with balancing mechanics around a player base that knows how to use the tools at their disposal. |
I actually feel like the game would have been better off. I don't ever remember thinking that the game was awful balance wise until the community balancers came. All that's happened after that is, "why is Axis so strong now". And it's not even subtle, its widely known how much an advantage Axis has now. I can only hope that CoH3 doesn't go down the same road. Seeing as how the have overhauled the game and it's units, maybe it won't be and the factions will finally be different but equal.
Allies dominated the finals in the last big 1v1 tourney 7-0. Axis pulled it's weight in earlier rounds.
Allies just dominated the 4v4 tourney.
And I'm not even saying they're op. All I'm saying is that they certainly have a chance. Because allied players have proven it when it matters. |
I really, really, really hope don't take any advice from the current community team balancing CoH2.
You need all the advice you can get.
These people have done a ton of work for free. For us. Regardless if it is imperfect. |
One of the marks of a good education is the ability to discriminate the data and form views on both the subset and superset of ideas presented.
I.e. it's the one part of your post I felt was worth polishing.
You needn't be sensitive about people doing this to your ideas.
He's not wrong. Amazing how someone can write like they're riding a horse while their head is right up it's arse at the same time.
