Thread: Soviet infantry and docterine changes suggestions3 Nov 2019, 02:39 AM Jump back to quoted post30 Oct 2019, 14:00 PMVipper Both SVT and 7th man are borderline OP and 7th will be op at CP2. conscripts being OP is an insane assertion... it simply keeps them on par with the weapon upgrades present in all other allied nations... mind you SVT conscripts still lose in shootouts vs LMG grens at medium-long ranges... and are still bodied by STGs at close ranges... 7 man also loses to LMG grens and STG volks even when in cover at the aforementioned ranges... the only real difference comes when the conscripts reach vet 2-3 and get that 40% target size bonus... JP is only slightly better than SU-85 vs mediums yet it more expensive. So that brings down you theory that SU-85 and SU-76 are "different TDs for different targets". The SU-85 can counter mediums just fine. not exactly... the JP4 is not penetrable by any medium and has higher DPS than the SU-85 while retaining enough penetration to punch through a medium anyways... it also is capable pushing out 60 range TDs thanks to its higher DPM... id say thats a pretty significant advantage... not saying the JP4 is entirely fine it may use a small increase in utility by applying switchable round types... but to deny the fact that the JP4 is better against mediums than allied heavy TDs are is BS In: COH2 Balance

These are remnants of when Axis tanks are superior. Needs some look at or at least make Wehr stuka strife more equally devestating. give it red smoke, make it cost more, make it shootable by AA and remove/reduce its infantry killing ability and youve got yourself a deal In: COH2 Balance
