VISIBLE KILL COUNTS Watching a stream is a joke without this feature. Even playing without this is a joke. You throw some arty and you dont get to see the kill counts ratchet up. How this has been missing is beyond comprehension. MORE PING TYPES Not everyone speaks the same language. Coh needs several pings like Please Recon here, Attack coming here, etc etc etc MINE MARKER Puts a permanent mine icon on a map location until clicked again. NO BLUE OR RED POINT COLORS Coh3 has like Red points held by the blue team. Why??? Coh1 got this right. Coh2 screwed it up. COh3 screwed it up worse. In: COH3 Central

Strangely, GBPirates mapping contest finished in mid April. Where are those maps? Why is there no mention of them? If the new Community map in September is from the contest, that would be 5 months later? If the new 2v2 map is from the contest that would be 7 months later? How hard is it to add a map? Your profile shows you are in Germany. Most Germany players have complained about ping times and long lag times in game. They all said using a VPN like Nordwind was the only solution to stop lags. There is something laggy about the German Infrastructure. I think they are giving customers more speed than the backbone can handle. Thread: Tips for retreating in time27 Jul 2024, 18:22 PM An important aspect is retreat paths. 1v1 pros know each retreat path. Pathing in the game is wonky. And it seems when you need a good retreat path, the game will give you the worst possible path. Like moving INTO the enemy. Get Cheatmods and retreat units from points on your fav maps. plop down a squad and hit retreat. Maps like Lienne have complete shit pathing that cant be fixed, we tried every patch. When doing deep flanks be aware of where you will be retreating. In: COH2 Gameplay

You are contradicting yourself I have always said the same thing since coming here in 2016, Relic makes the wrong choice every time. Given two options Relic will make the wrong choice to their detriment. I gave up on Coh3 a long time ago. I still like to watch streams though. So I keep an eye on things waiting for Coh3 to git gud. But after the last stream, it is obvious that will never happen for me. Coh used to occupy like 60% of my day. Now its like 2% of my day. Relics bad decision making has sucked any desire to care about Coh out of me. I started writing VSTs for guitar about 1.5 years ago. That is now my 60% time suck. A VST is a program you run inside of recording software. These VSTs process guitar and simulate amplifiers, effects, mono synthesizer etc. So I have never written a VST or C++ code. Yet in 1.5 years I have made a complete guitar processor and several single effects. Meanwhile Relic cant even add VISIBLE KILL COUNTS, something that THE QUBAN wrote a couple months after Coh3 came out. They just are not going to do it. That is like designing a car with no speedometer. As is the MAKO style, the VSTs and source code are on GITHUB. You too can be writing recording programs in just a few minutes. - Install Visual Studio - Install JUCE - Create a JUCE project - Copy source code files - Hit run Or you can keep playing a game and giving money to a company that does not care about you as a customer. If I was any good at modeling I could have made a game by myself in a year that would be playable. Seems like a no brainer for a real company to make. But you have all these weirdos who cry that the patch on some unit is not 100% authentic. And who the hell wants to deal with them as your customer base??? So a real world game is not worth the money you would spend in research. Was DOW2 even close to as big as COH2? I have been tempted to mod Quake 3 and turn it into an RTS. They will do it themselves just like they always do. I could make 20 accounts, VPN, and hack all day long being toxic to kill off the user base. But Relic will do it for me.
