I don't even know what to spend manpower on and it is very hard not to float. There used to be a time, where you could get 8rads, but now you're just forced to go flakvierling every single time and baby sit it so fast stuart or chaffee will not dive it. See. I told you guys. Even with zero games played I was 100% confident. So is the 8Rad too nerfed or the Chaffee just too OP at the moment? Chaf seems like a no brainer pick since it seems to work thru the whole match. Not just a small window like it should. from the video circulating where there are a blob of greyhounds and chafs. I am not familiar with the Stuart timing to say if its good/bad. In: COH3 Central

But they do not ban people anymore. No one knows who owns Coh2. Or who pays for the steam servers. If you do an Intellectual Property search, all websites say that Sega owns Coh. Maybe relic bought the Coh IP but the sites do not have that information yet. That is why I am always on here saying "Relic, you need to tell people who owns the game." But they are too dumb to help themselves out. They will sit in their ivory towers and burn. No one should be supporting Relic when they dont even support themselves. In: COH2 Balance

It says volumes about the real issue with Coh3. That is why Relic does not ban anyone in Coh2 anymore. Trying to ruin the good game so everyone moves on to the meh game. And people still want to simp out and think Relic cares about them. Relic, Coh3 is about a year from being a replacement for Coh2. Maybe put out some skins, DLC, or something for Coh2 so we can keep playing the good game in the mean time and still help you out financially. Assuming you go back to banning people in Coh2 of course. Instead of dicking over what is left of your player base and committing suicide like you always do. Maybe try something different once? You have tried the tripping over your dicks and failing thing. Maybe try something else? Or do you not even own the Coh IP so you cant? No one knows. I wonder if Relic even knows. They are that clueless. Maybe do a stream where you talk about who owns what? Who owns you? What your future looks like? Nah F**k it! Mgs, UCs, scout cars, and snipers are gonna make you have a real bad day. You will never see the fuel. By the time you get a truck up and have some healing the enemy will be at the truck destroying it. Putting you even further behind. Sadly, Coh2 is dead. Relic will never adjust anything ever again. Everyone needs to switch to Coh3 or they will go out of business. And since coh3 is so meh, they will be out of business soon. In: COH2 Balance

This is why Coh3s bad release is so tragic. There is nothing like Coh. It is the best RTS if you like that frantic but intelligent play style. I looked at a stream of MoW2 for a sec and noticed the GFX are worse than Coh3. Almost no specular lighting anywhere. Coh2 and Coh3 both also have some extra shading that occurs post render that really adds depth to objects. MoW2 does not appear to do that. While the overall quality is worse than Coh, it adds some cool lighting effects. Which goes to what Vermillion was saying in another thread, it doesn't have to be perfect if it all works together and feels cohesive. I like the TEAM overlay they did. I did not see individual units kill counts, but you dont have squads, so it probably is not as exciting anyway. Overall, it looked fun, but not in the same style of Coh play. Its close. Nothing beats Coh. Never will, unless I get bored and write something up. In: Other Games
Thread: Coh2 - Coh3 Graphics Comparison15 May 2024, 03:02 AM The shadow darkness is a setting in the Worldbuilder. On cloudy or high humidity days the light gets diffused and the ambient light goes up. So shadows are lighter because light is reflected/refracted and going around the shadow casters. That is one of the things Relic did that I dont know much about or see any difference. They added a lot more light modeling code/settings. Strange to spend so much time on lighting and then disregard Specular, which is way more important. vCoh and Coh2 also have settings to make the textures look wet. This does not exist in Coh3. The settings are there, but they do nothing. That is the stuff that makes me sad for Coh3. Will this little stuff ever get added? Maybe. Maybe not. But we got a skin store and leaver penalties. Quick Idea: Strafing run counterplay: AA units have cone of fire and you can direct them the direction where you assume the strafe comes. I like all of this. In: COH3 Central
