Thread: Rzhev Winter 3v39 Aug 2018, 17:55 PM Version on steam updated(6) Rzhev Winter. 1A. Munition point changed to a cutoff. 1B. Changing the point to a cutoff required a move to mirror the house coverage of the north. 2. Added some yellow cover (BLUE) to better mirror green cover on right side of map. Left side has the bridge green cover but it is not very useful as you are either in green or red cover while moving. And the side you want to be on is blocked so you cannot. 3. VP territory was better balanced for size north and south and kept in front of sight blockers for USF lockdown. In: Summer patch 2018

That is why we needed the bridge, to connect to the new TP5. And to keep with the look of territory being NULL around the water. It also helps North not get cutoff from everything when south breaks the ice with arty fire. If we want to, we could make the middle TPs cutoffs (BLUE circles)? Bless you! I never play anything but 4v4. I saw no one was playing so I took one for the team and played two games of 1v1. Both games I did very well early. Then about 5-8 minutes in, the game decided I was doing too well and all my units turned retarded. GG. Of course it does not help when three squads are running circles in front of the enemy because of a wall. I cant get thru a game of 1v1 without seriously thinking about deleting COH2 forever I tip my hat to the people who play it regularly o7 In: Summer patch 2018
Thread: Road to kharkov9 Aug 2018, 05:32 AM I got it do it again. Here is what happened: 1. Vehicle backs down the road (AQUA). 2. Sturms are near (RED X). 3. Sturms try to get out of the way(BLUE X) of the p2 and 1 guy takes the yellow path. 2 guys take the green path. Leaving 1 guy by the P2 and 3 guys by the TP. EDIT: I am dumb. It is just the wall. You can make the guys run all around that wall if you drive anywhere near them. Either side. Nice The long walls need lots of holes added or I recommend just remove the map altogether. You have this giant wall of green cover and if something comes near your units they will suicide themselves running head first into the enemy. In: Summer patch 2018
Thread: Road to kharkov9 Aug 2018, 05:13 AM I just played a 1v1 automatch on Road to Jerkoff and I could not keep my sturms together by the left VP house area. Anytime I moved them anywhere by the red arrow, I ended up with 1-2 guys in the blue circle and 1-2 guys in the green circle. Is this a thing? I told them to repair a vehicle by the right blue circle and 3 of the guys went to the green circle??? So the repair guy played with his dong for a minute or two until I could get them back to the blue circle. It happened 3 times in one game. gg. I think sturms 2 or 3 times and volks once. I dumped the replay when I went in to cheatmod to recreate it but could not. In: Summer patch 2018

Because all the fences and cover are now without a strategypoint. Also don't forget there is now a new path to attack the south cutoffpoint. Maybe somehow a mix between live and reworked version? So that the fences and co are not complete alone? 2. Ignore right side. The only question is: How far is it from north side to the muni and how far it is from south to their muni? I would say it should be kind of equal in the live version or not? Also then the 2 houses fights action is useless as fuck. So when its in anyway almost balanced i want the old muni point left side. In case change the norther muni points few meters. New version uploaded to steam. Everything in one picture time: 1. The cutoff changes make sense when you look from overhead. Houses (BLACK 1,2) mirror each other. Tractor mirrors truck (GREEN lines). Cemetary fences (YELLOW lines). The cutoffs can be flanked from the river(BLUE arrows) around the impassable areas (RED) 2. To get the balance correct for the MUNI points each point needed to move. South moved closer to base. North moved further from base. House (AQUA 1) ws moved closer to munition to mirror south houses (AQUA 3,4). North house is small so the green cover tractor was left close to its original position to help balance buildings (AQUA 1,2). 3. The EAST side of the map points were adjusted for distance balance (WHITE arrows). In: Summer patch 2018

North side has 2 yellow cover things. Northside has nothing. So put for south side equal yellow cover in. - Added a cart and a bent tree for additional yellow cover. I missed it. - The cutoff TP was moved back to mirror distance for same south point cutoff. South was 139m north was 163m. North TP had easy access from river, south did not. - The small shed was replaced with windowed shed to mirror the south. The "LIVE" shed had NO windows facing south. Heavily favors south team. - Soviet tractor moved south to mirror truck on the south. When you play from south side, the nnorth truck does not really help you vs the left or right building. OPT 1) We can move the south truck to give the same coverage. Thread: Rzhev Winter 3v38 Aug 2018, 05:56 AM New version out as (6) Rzhev Winter 1. Cleaned up a few items like floating objects. 2. Added some cover around right VP. It was surrounded by RED cover. 3. The point of this remake is because SOUTH is favored on this map. So we added a missing point and spread some things out by mid VP. Then we balanced the red cover road the north has to fight across. This led to the south having a road across the new bridge. Due to the way the roads are laid out, the south has a straight road from their base to the new bridge. The north did not. New road added (BLUE dots). The minimap will need to have the new road added if it is kept in the final version. In: Summer patch 2018
