Go figure out which commander that is and how common it gets picked. Would be nice to see your playercard because it seems you lack really basic knowledge
mobile ass-hurt regiment |
door mines solve a lot of these problems, except sometimes on garrison heavy maps its hard t mine every front and back door. As sovs I sometimes stick a demo next to the mine to make sure they all die |
4 T43's killing 2 Panthers is NOT the norm. It is an exceptional edge case that should only go to show the potential boundaries of the balance scenario, not stand as a baseline for comparison.
In other words, don't use the exception to try and prove the rule.
Not an exception, in big games with competent soviet players it fairly common. |
Isn't there another command next to attack ground that does that already? I might be wrong I can't remember what it's called |
This Sunday two of you will be selected to compete for prestige, honour, and respect (also £10) in a best-of-three Brits vs. Wehrmacht show-match on Crossorads.
A_E's Patreon Invitational Sunday Showdown is ironing out its format and kicking it into the next gear.
Will you do a new post like this every week, or leave it in this thread. I'd like to declare but I'm not available for the next couple of weeks so I'd like to know where I should go when I'm ready to sign up. Cheers |
For the amount of rocket artillery/demos and various other deterrents allies have to punish blobs. The ST is one of the few to do the same. It's a pure hit or miss like everything else in the damn axis arsinal.
I'm not gonna deny that it does wipe fully vetted squads, but there are bigger issues that needs to be handled first.
Of the 5 factions, 3 of them are all-in-one infantry unit blobbing, fix that then fix the ST
agreed, although I'm not sure which factions you're referring to |
I Agree with what you're saying, but I feel the t34/76 is not as bad as you think. You can get 3 for not much more fuel than a tiger and they're on the field much earlier. working together and well handled they singlehandedly win games. I agree with the price increase, maybe 90fu/270mp |
It's pretty silent and has a pretty good range which means it can shoot from the fog of war. This means that it doesnt even need to require your opponent not looking. Reload time doesn't matter, you can't replace vet 3 squads with vet 0 squads against vet 5 stg's volks.
You have a point, but how do you fix it without making it no longer worth the effort of saving up for? tbh it's whole premise was poorly thought out when it was originally designed by relic. Also I have a question. Out of curiosity how many times have you seen a sturmtiger that is higher than vet 3? |
imo the most OP thing about the sturmtiger is that it can literally shoot through anything. Meaning if the map if garrison or forest based you will often never see it coming. The ability it has to wipe ect I don't think is that bad because it's slow, takes a full minute (and is immobile) to reload and requires the opponent to not be looking to be fully effective. A cost increase however, would not go amiss. |
Is it ever worth it to upgrade to PTRS? You gimp your Penals' AI for the rest of the game, especially on the move.
Yes it is, if you have enough squads and you don't upgrade them all. three penals and enough munitions can reliably kill a panther if it's unsupported. Two can sort out any light vehicles and really put the hurt on mediums |
