I think flares should reveal way less area. so you have diffirence between planes providing larger vision while flares show less but cant be shot. |

Imo the original issue when they were first given at satchel kit was more about that conscipts sucked back then and callin sherman was meta. If cobs were buffed to same extend back then, sherman meta would still have been prelevant. So no issue was more about the sherman call in being busted and cons not being worth it. |
At first glance some decent changes, here are some notes:

I like thing going for su 76 but i feel like it would be more intresting if you could choose path between of at or ai.
For example upgrade it with 50 mp plus what would be appropriate fuel/muni cost. Anti tank upgrade would give better damage and pen and ambush camo with cost of barrage, while HE upgrade would change its ammo to he and make it autofire in style of scott and its barrage would be buffed in range and/or lethality.

If Spios STGs were to replaced with mp40s here's how I would do it:
Squad cost reduced to 280
squad size increased to 5
STG44 replaced with assault grenadier mp40s
Panzerschreck upgrade replaced with flamethrower
Firestorm Spio flamer upgrade with Spio Veteran Squad leader upgrade:
(Squad size increased from 5 to 6, gains Veterancy 10% faster, and takes 10% less damage)
Volks flame grenade replaced with Model 24 HE grenade
last thing we should get is 6 man sturmpios. |

Penal changes are welcome but i wonder how much it is going to help later on as more elite units like pgrens and obers start to roam, as their firepower vs infantry is still limited to their stock rifles. It would be nice to see some sort of anti infantry oriented weapon upgrade for penals, although what it could be is questionable. su 76 buffs are welcome, t70 nerf looks decent, especially the rate of fire nerf. And m16 finally wont insta drop planes as they arrive. |
Mortar pit getting that extra reach feels nice. Especially as it allows it to actually still function later on without having to be straight in the frontline to reach targets. I would have liked if it had some special ammo types for tech choice like the wp or airburst, but that might be bit too much. Churchill buffs are nice but i am not sure how much tank commander will help, but its good to have it. It felt weird that churchill didnt have it. |
