You can barely reach 110/100 pop cap as USF, 50-60 is impossible. I have tried various builds and i can't get more than that. Each faction has a specific way to repair its armor, so i don't see where's the problem with USF. OKW gets auto repair with the mechanized HQ (or whatever the name of the building is).

in case you don't know, the Americans can jump out of there tanks lower there popcap, buy more units and jump back in, so they can have up to something like 50-60 population over the limit. i know this isn't a easy problem to fix since this mostly effects 4v4 late game and the tanks themselves cost population, but i was thinking what if the tank cost 0 population, and the crew cost all the population? or maybe have the tank be like the old UKF trench, so jumping out doesn't decrease population? anyway what do you guys suggest on how to fix this, because this is the only faction that can exploit population and i think it should be fixed soon. |
I think Grenadiers are fine.
The issue is mainly the Brits. The "Bolster Squad Package" which is like a weapon upgrade for everyone, is cost effective, comes early. Maybe they should halt it for more later. Change something because Brits usually do have the upper hand.
OR
Give indivdual upgrades for a to Bolster Squad similarly to the Wehrmacht "German Infantry Doctrine". This will fix issues especially what OKW suffers from since they get easily outmatched in the beginning.
(Depends heavily on map also, if it is urban, lots of buildings, Brits dominate).

Here is how I also see it
Bolster Squad costs ammo (60 ammo or less), limited to 1 Bren (45 ammo) only
Without Bolster upgrade, can get 2 Brens.
It will increase diversity, either going for more durability or more firepower. Diversity is important. I think this is what needs changing. No buffs required personally for Grens, just nerf the UKF Tommies specifically. Something needs amends

That's how armour works though. The only way to make it more realistic is if one penetrating hit knocks out the tank.

I think it's a fundimental design flaw. Atm armour either works and deflects the shot or it doesn't and it takes damage. This all well and good except RNG can say it deflects it's hard counters every time OR none of the time. The effectiveness of counters is then either trivial or the armour itself is trivial if the counters get buffed. With the current system there is no alternative when it comes to high armored units and those intended to counter them.
I think dedicated high end TDs just need defection damage and a pen cut. This way armour does SOMETHING but TDs still are always a threat. Armour would act as an immunity to damage against plebling medium tanks and light TDs but also as a damage reduction against TDs at the very least,which is a far cry better than acting as cardboard like now.
This could also serve as a way to make certain underperforming premium units like the comet stand out more and solidify its role as a brawler
This would of course be faction independent as there are units on both sides that bring ire due to the woes of RNG.
i hope in the next COH there will be a completely different armor system i really don't like the "take full damage or take 0". |
At least,remove crews can be kill when reload,and make ST reload like AVRE be automatic?
i think giving the ST heavy crush would be a great way to buff the ST because it is a heavy tank after all. |
Many people hate the KT but y'all dont understand that the current KT is how every heavy tank in CoH2 should be:
- requires full tech to be called in
- situational unit (no auto win button)
- has fair and reasonable counters / weak points

i thought that the king tiger was supposed to be the best tank in the game but be the most expensive but i don't feel like ether are true. so what do you guys suggest to make the KT fit its role better? |
what do you guys think of assault grenadiers? personally i think there too expensive i think and there price should be lowered. |
