My problem with the Bofors is not the actual unit but the build time, it seems like it builds faster than sandbags, and its incredibly cheesy when they take a point and you're coming back for a counter attack to find out that they already built a Bofors. |

if the range nerf on the Sturmtiger is going to stay then the AVRE should also get a 5 range nerf otherwise the Sturmtiger has no advantage over the AVRE |
The kt is no doubt better but you can only have one kt since its a heavy-effective vs everything tank but the comet doesn't have a unit cap which is at odds with all the other generalist heavys and at odds with units that have shit loads of utility like jager command squads and officer units, imagine playing vs wehr with 4 jaeger command squads.
It would be annoying since they could operate alone without a spotting unit & negate their natural counter (mgs) and offer so much utility & bang for buck the wehr player wouldn't build anything else, the same is happening with the comet.

I think the comets problem is the same problem the kv1 had which is being way too spammable, its a good tank on its own nothing insane but the problem arises when you have a comet and instead of there being a thoughtful decision on what tank to buy next you just buy more comets because it does everything pretty decently and having more just multiples the Allround effectiveness of your army |
Classic "OP unit I used to crutch on was nerfed" complain thread. 20 Extra Fuel cost and 5 range reduction is "nerfed to oblivion" okay sure... Meanwhile Sturmtiger still has the huge stun radius that more or less means medium tank deaths even if grazed if you have half a brain to follow-up with AT but sure, lets OHK medium tanks because combined arms takes too much effort!
Was the sturmtiger really "OP" before this nerf? and they nerfed the veterancy on top of the range nerf on top of the vet 4 sight nerf on top of the price nerf and on top of the CP nerf, did it really need all those nerfs or was it overkill |
Now that the Sturmtiger has been nerfed to oblivion can it please 1 shot a t34 again or at least increase its deceleration while firing so it doesn't take so long to shoot, because in its current state its way worse than the AVRE |
Tbh the same thing applies to the Panther with 2 (sometimes 3, depending on positioning) of any allied medium tanks. Panzer 4 was not meant to hunt Comets, and Shermans/Cromwells/T34s were not meant to hunt Panthers.
That said, I kind of wish the Panther had better AI in exchange for some AT performance.

I think the comets problem is that it completely counters 2 panzer 4s because its too fast or has too much armor, the thing with the panther is you only buy it to counter tanks but the comet is pretty much a super cromwell and i think thats fine but it shouldnt have the armor it currently has unless its limited to 1 |
KT is a rolling fortress. Slow and steady. It can win a game if properly supported, no matter what's going on, on the map. It's fine. If you use KT on small maps with lots of corners, well, it's your problem then. It's a non doctrinal heaviest heavy tank. What more could you want?
Let's give it 999 armour so that TDs can't penetrate it and let's give it 3 top MG gunners so it can wipe infantry within seconds. That's basically some of the replies on this thread. In order to counter KT, you need tank destroyers. I've seen game winning plays with one KT and supporting infantry. The worst mode to use KT is 1v1 since it can get destroyed if it's left unsupported and it's quite slow. Anyone that thinks that KT is underperforming needs a reality check
I thought the game was balance for 1v1? If its underperforming in 1v1 than it needs a buff. |
