I am interested in another Land-Lease M5, why the Soviet Lend-Lease Guards assault group with the M5 did not become cheaper? After all, the M5 in T3 has become cheaper.
I agree, but this is about the UKF 4 minute quad rush in danger of going live.
EDIT: The USF one appears to have had its price reduced to 250. |
What. Am I wrong?
What is bad about Vickers?
Its suppression isn't great, and its high damage means it usually kills the model it's suppressing, making its suppression even worse.
It's better than the Maxim, but that's about it. |
That's not how % works.
It will be penetrated 28% more often by pen 1 small arms, more then that when HMG and LMG shoots it.
Yep, I got that backwards.
28% sounds a lot less pointless. |
A few users have brought this up in the main feedback thread, but it seems to have been completely ignored. Now that an announcement declaring the commanders 'feature complete' is up, I think this issue needs its own thread.
The new commander can rush out a highly mobile suppressing halftrack in just over 4 minutes. OKW might just manage with the Raketenwerfer. Ostheer's got nothing: if it goes with a normal opening it won't even have T2 up by then.
As it stands, this is the fastest non-ultralight vehicle to get in the game.
UKF Quad Mount: 55 FU
USF M20 Utility Car: 65 FU
OST 251/222: 70 FU if you skip T1, else 80 FU
UKF AEC: 85 FU
USF AAHT: 85 FU
Stuart: 105 FU
Luchs: 115 FU
Puma: 125 FU
Something needs to be done to delay this unit a bit.
It probably needs to be a CP3 call-in like the USF version. |
You might want to look up the damage stats on an LMG42 before suggesting equipping Grens with two of them. |
I would prefer that the Soviet engineers could buy PPSh-41 (compatible with a flamethrower), because the first echelon of engineers was used as the assault troops and most of them were armed with submachine guns.
Aren't those represented by Shock Troops? |
None of the WFA Engineers need this buff.
Pioneers and Combat Engineers could do with the Sturmpioneer's ability to stow their sweeper. |
We are posting survivability for the units
With the kubel nerfs people found it UP (right now there's a thread saying it's too fragile in need of buff), I argue nerfed armour UC will be the same and end up needing to be buffed again
It looks like a big nerf, but in practice it's going from 14% small arms chance to penetrate to 18% chance to penetrate. That's, what, a 4% damage increase versus it? |
Mechanized is the most popular doctrine at high level, mostly because of the WC51 and Cavalry Rifles.
Against Ostheer, the WC51 is a 200 MP 45 FU Universal Carrier that they can't really do anything about for a few minutes. Cav Rifles are CQC infantry with snares, something Ostheer struggles to fight off.
Against OKW, you stick the Cav Rifles in the back of the WC51 and wipe all their squads on retreat. |
I remember. I do not think it would hurt at all if the devs placed back the option to have also STG package for those who feel like having it. Removal of it was done to create some kind of diversity. Well, they took the option away making it seem now less diverse.
It would make more sense for the "sake of diversity" if there was either MP40 or STG instead of one choice only.
If you take USF paratroopers. They have 2 weapon choices. That is great. Imagine now if they had Thomspons only as a choice. Guess that would make people upset!
Paratroopers get a choice between powerful long-range weapons and powerful short-range weapons in a faction that has mid-range mainline infantry.
If you want STG Stormtroopers, pick Storm Doctrine or Jaeger Infantry Doctrine and stuck Ambush Camouflague on Panzergrenadiers. It's pretty much the same thing. |
