Also right now for brits in 1v1 cromwell is their last saving grace because they lack snare, good mid game vehicle (ost have 222, everybody have light tank) and good main line infantry.
Yes, I agree that cromwell and comet need to be touched - cromwell speed and comet white phosphorus but they should be changed also with IS so brits remain playable in 1v1 without being cheesy
Brits have IS AND Royal Engis squads (too good for being an engy type unit). Two type of excellent squads.
When they became 5men squad, the problem is even worse for the OST. |
Please read the balance patch notes, or even the balance patch itself. These units are out of scope.
Both of these units need to be balanced and will be, hopefully, in the future. If you want to discuss them please do not insinuate that they need to be addressed in this balance patch.

You "forget" to add the damage against infantry in that table.
Comet also can wipe inf aswell really quick.
Comet should be like the Panther: only good against other tanks. Period. For killing inf you have cromwells, centaurs, etc. |
I get this error almost every time now while I´m playing, or when I win, after clicking in the Quit button. Of course it exits the game and crashed.

There will be any kind of tunedown for the super powerfull Cromwell and Comets.?
For their price they have:
1- high speed.
2- high acceletarion.
3- high rotation.
4- easy to crush inf.
5- very good damage against inf.
6- good damage against tanks.
7- very good penetration (specially Comet).
8- low fuel cost.
9- low tech to get it (specially Cromwell). They arrive too soon.
10- excellent accuracy on the move.
I dont know. Something is very wrong with these tanks compared to their counterparts: P4 and P5. They are really good at killing Inf and tanks aswell. |
These are all Axis buffs and Allies nerf. Which is very good for the health and balance of the game.
What bothers me is: Relic knew these things, then Why they launched a tourny like the War Painting? |

The only MG that can be spammed is the Maxim.
The only Mortar that is spammed is the USF one.

CoH2 is an easy mode for allies now, while a constant uphill battle for Axis. This is the result of a biased allied lobby imo...
- UKF and USF infantry dominates any kind of axis infantry with double LMGs and terminator veterancy
- Soviet do the same with Penals and flamethrowers
- Light tank madness favors allied factions too
- OKW must rush to T1 in order to survive against other factions T0
- While other factions like USF receive T0 satellite guided mortars which they were never needed
- Raketen is still garbage, constantly hits ground, inaccurate crap. I would rather pay 320MP for it and see it locked behind T1, but let it be reliable.. instead of this...
- Multirole medium tanks like T34/85, Shermans, Cromwells are cheap, easy to reach, do perfectly fine against infantry (especially 4 men axis squads) and due to the rear armor nerf they do fine against most of axis tanks too.
- Axis have no proper medium tanks, P4 has problems, Ostwinds has problems, Panthers has problems.
- OKW still unable to build observation points
- XP gain is still broken through the whole game. Allied infantry can reach their terminator vet3 in no time, while some okw units you never see above vet1.
- There are no axis elite infantry. Obersoldatens are die fast overpriced garbage.
- The only point where axis had clear advantage was the lategame tank play with heavies like the KT. This advantage was decreased with allied TD buff and rear armor nerf.
It not impossible to win a game with axis, but you must play well and it will be a constant uphill battle for you... while with allies you dont really have to break a sweat, just follow the basics of the game: use cover, retreat, capture points, etc...
