They dont care (this a fact) about 4v4 and this mode is the most played in automatch. 4v4 dont receive the same attention as 1v1 and 2v2 from Relic. So GG Relic. 4v4 doesn't receive the same attention because it is a casual mode, is far above and beyond impossible to balance properly and to get new maps would take the community mappers MONTHS to make just to be told off when it is released. So in reality, it kinda the communities fault that 4v4 doesn't get love, especially when it comes to maps, as the track record for treatment of mappers doesn't really incentivize anyone to care about anything that requires a huge investment of our time for free, if I am not mistaken there are a total of 4 (?) mappers that are active, and I use active very loosely. No idea, ive been mapping and uploading for years and all of a sudden. I verified game cache files through steam, I uninstalled and reinstalled clean. Deleted all my workshop, nothing Hey, I didn't have time to check your email on my end (GPU fan died), and recently just got back in action. Will get to this most likely on Monday. The very first map ever designed for this game, by Quinn Duffy himself no less, and now it has been allowed to completely change its character without being able to fix all of its CoH2 flaws. A map designed for CoH1 will not work for CoH2 that is painfully obvious, the resource systems are not compatible. This map should have been just removed from automatch, and a CoH2 designed map should take its place. 100% agree. In: Mapping Discussion

Both of you have valid points. My question is, did anyone really like angoville being in rotation even before the changes? It is just another grandfathered in vcoh map that doesn't translate well into coh 2. At least someone tried to do it justice, and has been said, many like the new one more so than the old one, the problem is you can only polish a turd so much. Also the "widely hated" comment is pretty funny. As maps that are "widely hated" on the forums here are typically enjoyed by the vast amount of casual coh 2 players, the player base is larger than these forums. Case in point, if pripyat sector would've only been in custom games it would've been top 5 most played maps for it. In fact, before the 2v2 tournament you could still see it on the front page of custom games daily. In: Mapping Discussion
