Isn't Volks the problem? I find Cons ok vs Ostheer.

My reasoning is simple, at the moment Cons are getting really hurt by GrenLMG42, the Soviet players also get access to Shock/Guard via doctrine but mainly get access to the T-70 or the M5 to balance the fight.
Somehow one faction should have the worst infantry squad if we don't want a perfect mirroring between factions. The question is how is it balance around that and Ostheer not having access to light/medium armored tank is an answer to Cons being inferior to grenLMG42.

Now OKW is another topic. Volks are simply too good for the balance sake, that's not a secret.

Btw a fun fact about unit design and its realism in comparison to ww2 facts is that before the german invasion of the soviet union german main tank was panzer IV. It was after the pIVs clashed with newly manufactured t34s that they found out that pIV are inferior to t34 in almost every way. They couldnt even penetrate its armor because it was sloped. Based on t34 germany designed panther and tiger tank was supposed to match KV1s armor because KV1 unkillable for german tanks before that. So much for historical accuracy. Soviet tanks were actually on par or sometimes superior to german tanks while also being cheaper. To counter panthers and tigers soviets designed t34/85 which had all the cons of t34/76 like its mobility but was far better armored. It had a stronger gun which made it able to take head on german tanks being the best allied tank at that time.

1- Make repairing them cost manpower and fuel, a full repair could cost between 1/3 and 1/2 of their initial price.

2- Make them un-repairable neither from pioneers, sturmpioneers or the OKW truck. Once dead, you must call another one. To mitigate it, remove the engine damage on them.

The old kubel(not fbp) could fight mgs in yellow cover.
Similarly, the uc carrier allows you to beat ostheer mgs. If you can't push ostheer mgs off the map, your infantry is going to get wrecked by mortars. Uc carrier allows you to go pure offense with ufk in the very beginning of the game. The kubel was a problem because usf don't have at guns or at nades at the start of the game. The kubel performed fine vs soviets and ukf. I would stop nerfing and buffing units and give factions options to deal with strategies. You are creating problems, not fixing them.
