When you do it for the first time, just by description on how to do it its almost impossible. I would say that learning how to properly micro a sniper is easier. There is a reason why most players don't even know you can crush on purpose - they never happened to see that happening in lower skill games. Lol. Dude I know how to crush. I find it easy with a p4 let alone a Cromwell. With the Cromwell in general the movement is much smoother. And the crushing much more deadly. It literally takes no further skill than clicking to the side of the tank the infantry you want to crush are. Just keep clicking tight pathing arcs. Infantry get magnetized to the rotating tank and can't move except to get further crushed or to retreat which, as I mention above, is a lame solution. But hey, I'm not against crushing entirely. As I've also previously said, I think it should do health damage and rarely kill a model and should be normalized across factions. Cromwell and m10 were simply ludicrous. In: COH2 Balance

Quit to desktop - crushing no longer an issue. Never build any infantry - crushing no longer an issue. You can't see how retreating infantry puts you at an (unfair) disadvantage? Ever heard of the importance of field presence? Crushing doesn't just happen with blobs. You can decimate single squads. "just retreat" is the lamest of solutions you could possibly suggest except perhaps the two I mentioned tongue in cheek above. In: COH2 Balance

One of the easiest things in the game to pull off. Just turn into infantry. All you have to do... Very little skill required and certainly not intensive micro. Solution would be to have equality across factions and mediums by having some kind of bracket range of rotation rates that give same level of infantry crush. So Cromwell can keep its rotation rate but they meet same threshold as other mediums for specific capacity for infantry crushing, rather that it being a linear scale. In: COH2 Balance

In a game on semoskiy you didn't even make your first attempt to cap your muni point till 9 minutes and even then you didn't connect it. You never attempted your own fuel and only made first attempt at theirs much later (though also forgetting to connect it). You only seemed concerned with capping your cutoff then building your mortar pit. I guess you were hoping it would do all the work for you? And why leave your sniper on hold fire all game in the far corner? Your osteer opponent needless to say, swamped you and you blamed the games imbalance. Unbelievable. Take USF for example, a majority of players decide either Lt or Captain before going Major for tanks. That is a lot cheaper than the spreadsheet makes out. Not many good players tech serially, unless forced (ukf). Soviets also usually decide either tier 1 or 2 before 3 or 3,4. Ost choose tier 1 or 2 then they choose either tier 3 or tier 4 (with tier 3 research). Basically its not as simple as that chart makes out. In: COH2 Balance

If you want to give handheld AT a chance, maybe follow up some other suggestion from the forum like reducing reversing speed to 60% of forward speed. 1 or 2 models? Ha! Have you played this game? I can kill all but the last one or two men from at least three squads with a cromwell in just a few seconds. Perhaps you don't know how to use it well? Where is the risk? Thread: Week 3 Update to the Balance Mod18 May 2016, 21:24 PM They should have changed infantry crush to being health damage only, no kills (unless form the accumulated health defects). But yeah, it needed to be toned down severely. I've been saying it for a while now. It was ludicrous that a Wolverine (a Tank Destroyer) could wipe infantry at about 500% rate of a dedicated anti infantry tank (luchs). In: COH2 Gameplay
