My 0.02£ is that the Soviet faction needs an overhaul. Currently it’s basically pre-Puma nerf Ostheer, a bunch of underpowered units such as the Conscripts, Maxims, SU76s, T34/76s, HM-38s, getting carried by absolutely amazing ones (Shocks, IS2s, Penals, T70s), and some good ones, bringing the faction to a good power level. In the interest of making the faction much more enjoyable, I’d love to see more strats being made viable. yep t 34 so bad it can beat a unit that cost 1/3 more fuel and obv the mortar is bad i mean it can only self spot and has 6 men while having same aoe as others In: COH2 Balance

Bear in mind that rifles and tommies don't exactly start with everything unlocked for free. If cons being shitty because of utility out of the gate was a good argument, then so it is for PFs. do at tommy pay for at nade ?, or do guards or shock pay for nades? In: COH2 Balance

At Vet 0 Volks would still dominate Riflemen behind sandbags despite the more expensive cost of Riflemen. This is totally ignoring Strums too. Riflemen had no discernable advantage over Volks but for some reason were significantly more expensive. It was the dumbest situation. Then Volks would instantly get their 60 munitions StGs and flamenades after teching while USF side techs put upgrades so out of reach that you'd very often see Volks wipe the floor with Riflemen for several minutes into the game. It was a sad sad state and I'm really glad they addresssed it. At Vet 0 cons would still dominate gren behind sandbags at long range despite costing the same and already beating them at close. instantly ? well sure 55 fuel is much sooner than 15 In: COH2 Balance
