But with this idea, we could move schrecks back to volks instead of SPios. SPios are too squishy for a 90MU weapon upgrade. Giving them the schreck was a bad idea at the first place. Volks could keep it if they lose 40% of their AI instead of 20%. Pgrens are different story. I think they should either be an exception and keep their current form, or should have separate upgrades for schreck and MG42s (like old grenediers in CoH1). I know it sounds harsh, but it could address the issue where OST is lack of elite infantry. Honestly, PGrens are no contest for allied infantry now. They are lack of upgrades, and even with their good veterancy bonuses, Rifle and IS veterancy is just simply better. 2.) How about making enfields not require any slots... just changing the regular rifle profile to those on vet3? But yes, the main issue is the lack of some sort of slot-item priority list. if you want sherck on volks back j have more realizable and easy idea make volks dops lower than cons 1 man of the squad is designed veteran (similar to assault gren there is a veteran pg) that have an stg the same as the upgrade right now then you make the upgrade to sherck but only the veteran can use it so it lose the stg having almost no ai obviously the veteran always the last men In: COH2 Balance

It was kinda all right when all USF had were shitty Jackons and Shermans. Now with E8, Pershing, Calliope and Sherman buff (better pen than long barrel Pz4 lul) in deck, it could be changed to something else. Maybe ability to plant mines by vehicle crew? Idk, but currently it's not needed anymore. maybe nothing after all the crew is already free In: COH2 Balance
Thread: USF instant critical repair25 Sep 2016, 12:06 PM I think this ability was first for armor doctrine instead of Thompson but somehow they give it by default I really think it should be in armor doctrine it fit thematically too after all they have assault eng with sane ability and the Thompson is called veteran crew so you would expect them to know every inch of the tank and know how to repair fast In: COH2 Balance

The Italians only produced one real medium tank for instance and according to Wikipedia it was only actually used by the Germans. Going to do a bit of a plug here, I actually spent a fair bit of time working on a third Axis faction concept a while back and ended up arriving at a joint Italian-German faction based on the Luftwaffe Herman Goering division that fought in Italy. You can take a look at it here. obviusly we can't make a only Italian faction I believe a mix of panzer elite and Italian would work well In: Lobby

I would argue that their doctrines would be primarily ambush, and the issue they have to cope with us a complete lack of elite infantry. ????? We had elite infantry like "alpini" and most of our infantry was mechanized so something like panzer elite litteraly remove marauder for "semovente" and p4 for "carro Armato p40" In: Lobby

I'm not arguing that the italians didn't contribute to the war, I'm saying they might be redundant. nah on tank we had almost only light tank most of the medium and heavy where from german but we had varied elite inf and some nice light tank the faction could work like panzer elite with panther call in 1 time and focus on light vehivcle put a command "carro armato" like the command p4but differnt buff and we have an unique early game faction In: Lobby
