stug could trade the reload making it less effective vs medium but have a chance to shoot at TD
the upgrade too sounds like a good idea
jacksoon it the best cause as a TD it has no glaring weakness (moving acc, fast turret, fast tracks, nimble, 60 range, great pen and acc,self repair ) |

how to fix :
1 make pio 5 man at tier 3-4 so u can crew and repair better
2 make the jackson not the best tank in the game
3 change stug to have 55 range but less reload to give it the chance to actually hit a TD |

if u want a better comparison, they are sightly better than PG stgs, but u get 2 and pay munition+doc (2 pg stg will have less long range dps and 1 ir stg but better close range dps) |

It is dependant on context of the factions available
brits and USF have the hardest time killing an elefant, yet Soviets can counter one even non-doc very easy with katy to wipe support and single penal to force one off.
Ost and OKW both have tools with rocket arty and panther, it is just expensive. But in teamgames this is not an issue. brits can build a non doc better pak 43, it eats up elephant for breakfast |
But it's worse at AT than the SU-85. Its TTK against both medium vehicles (at vet 0 17s for the SU-85 vs 20,5s for the ISU-152 against an Ostheer P4, counted from the first shot and disregarding accuracy) and against heavies (45,2s vs 51,25s against a Tiger I) is longer and the SU-85 gets even better with veterancy.
Its actual AT performance is decent at best, although of course being able to switch in the first place is significantly better than nothing and does help its versatility.
