Path are only good when blobbed that's why top players call 4 of them and not 2 or 3 + riflemen. From experience Path begin to be a serious threat once you have 3 of them, below their firepower is usually not enough. Panzerfussilies are inferior to Volks at spwan... In addition Fall/jli/obers price gap from VGs is nowhere near the price gap between rifleman Pathfinder so you the comparison is not helpful at all. A tiger fights a T-34/85, or sherman variant, or a KV-1, while an IS-2 would fight a panther or two stugs (both of whom outrange it, mind you), occasionally panzer 4s that it can bully. Allies have their tank destroyers, who are really good machines, but they do not make the tiger obsolete at all. And the tiger has combat smoke and blitzkrieg, which let it be extremely survivable In sort a Tiger has to fight other Tanks and Is-2 has to fight TDs. I think that's intended nerf on pathfinder. carbine(elite or not) don't do serious dmg in my experiences in mid-long range where most of the combat for the pathfinder happens. ... Nope that is not a intended nerf, it has been like that since the start of the game, but they used to be locked behind CP and IR Pathfinder had 3 entities. Elite carbine is superior to riflemen M1 at all ranges, so it does do serious damage at mid range (the advantage is bigger at closer range). In: COH2 Balance

A player has a choice to build a medium tank first and benefit from it for half the game or to save up his resources to get a heavy tank. Each choice comes with its benefits and drawback. If two medium tanks = 1 heavy tank then why when you lose a medium tank you lose your investment but when you get the heavy tank 1/2 life you lose nothing. Because there would no reason to wait for the CP and invest on tech to get heavy tank otherwise. In: COH2 Balance
