The only real issue with vision currently are the pfussies flares. Last 30 seconds, cooldown 18 seconds and on a unit that has natural extended vision by upgrade, and excellent firepower (especially on the move), and a nade. As Hans called it: "The best infantry in the game". That and the 72 vision KT with commander upgrade and spearhead which tightrope called "extremely broken".
Paths shouldn't be a mainline replacement and I absolutely love watching path spammers get wrecked by LVs.
JLIs also shouldn't be mainline replacements.
Spotting scopes is a stupid concept and should have had a 5 second delay. Sort of like a set-up.
Same with paths/JLI. If you're moving, you get normal 35 range sight. If you're static for say 2 seconds (let's say that paths take out the binoculars), you get 50 sight.
So many glaring stupidities but it's still pointless to argue about them
Have you ever used spotting scopes?

"Spotting scopes
An activiation delay has been added to spotting scopes as the immediate vision boost allowed vehicles to quickly get shots off on targets outside of their sight range almost immediately.
they are type of commandos. One is airdrop from griller and onther jump out of building. First one doesnt have suprise element and both of them are expensive (390 mp]. second one nerfed from 4 to 5 and gamon bomb need to cooldown.
Cost of commandos is:
350 to build
320 to spawn (+70 = 390 total cost)
390 to drop + building/reinforcement point
Light gammon bomd are not on CD if one uses glider it is needed for "infiltration" commandos but that is common to all units of the type.
Not to mention their stealth power nerfed last patch. And again, you can do ambush bundle nade with Strormtrooper without upgrade MP40 just like them. They are working as intended. Stop Crying weabraboos.
Stormtroppers do not have access to a bundle grenade they have incendiary instead that does start in CD.
I am not sure what nerf to "stealth power" "or from 4 to 5" you referring to (or if they even exist).
The upgrade is not super bad on paper, but does not offer that much benefit either. Other weapon upgrades that mix different weapons do it in a way that the whole profile of the squad gets changed, but the LMG upgrade on Rifles doesn't. It creates an odd hybrid.
That is one way to look at. Another would that the upgrade allows LMG riflemen VG and even Lmg grenadier at range effectively while retaining the ability to also fight mid/close units.
In sort LMG riflemen in cover are hard to dislodge.
... LMG on Rifles is pretty bad in 2v2+. Well, maybe not "Bad", but definitely not optimal. In 1v1s it can still be used as the fighting there is mostly medium range, where the rest of the rifle squad with carbines will contribute. Generally putting LMGs on rifles in 2v2+ is sub-optimal. You have 4 models that are close range and one model that is long range. Why not have 5 models that are close range and use more micro to close in. This is where pathfinders come in.... less micro for that long range firepower...
That create the impression that garrand's long range performance can be ignored because it a "close range" weapon so it does not work with well with LMGs.
It not even the first, the second or even the third time that user has described gareands as "close range weapons".
The claim is simply false (but it seems that some people like to disagree with person that makes a post and not with what it has actually been posted).
Another thing worth noting it that apart from any difference in DPS there is also differences on how that damage is delivered. For instance bolt action rifles do more damage per shot so the damage come in "volleys (waves)" while damage from an smg is delivered in more continuous manner
Everybody forgets veterancy and veterancy requirements. Grens get +40% accy at vet 2, they vet faster and get weapon upgrades earlier. Meanwhile Rifles get majority of their veterancy dps upgrade (+30% accy) incredibly late at vet 3, which takes 2.5 times more experience to acquire than vet 2 of most mainlines who get their accy bonuses earlier.
To anyone saying Rifles get rec accy bonus at vet2, it's not as meaningful as the accuracy itself. Cons do just fine with their massive target size because they can build cover and they start to deal decent damage at vet 2 due to Vet2 accy bonus too, just like Volks.
Things are not as straight forward as that for a number of reasons like.
XP is awarded according to entity value and damage done so killing an grenadier entity or even doing the same damage to an entity does not award the same XP.
Squad with more entities can stay in combat for longer times without risking a wipe
DPS bonus effects is reduced received accuracy modifiers
Certain abilities like grenades and snared help infantry gain fast
In am pretty sure the numbers you brought up do not really correspond to the actual vetting speeds.
Is their a particular post your talking about on there?
These changes were implemented 9 years ago at this point, over several iterations of balance patches.
