Being an assault gun is actually the perfect reason for being blob control, just like the AVRE, ST and Brummbar. The unit perform better than Stug-E which is at the same class. It is not rocket artillery. I was also used extensively and in more number than most other assault guns in the latest tournamets. Relic did plenty of shitty design decisions (also good ones, goes without saying I hope) that screw over balancing to this very day. Imo what screw balance worse is that fact that instead of accepting Relic decisions and original faction design there was an attempt to bypass them. Either there is faction design or one end up with band aid over band aid and in this case having a faction that was design to have limited access to support weapons with 4 stock different option and trying to make all of them viable but on OP when they overlap. Not having the "proper tool" is not design flaw but a deliberate decision taken by Relic that wanted USF to depend on riflemen. If one decides to give USF the "proper tools", one would also have redesigned them and remove their perks. In: COH2 Balance

Now if this bad RNG is the rule when fighting then you're not only fighting the P4j, but P4j and RNG and not being able to win vs both of it you may lose you game. I doubt that, you probably do not remember when you AT penetrated the PZ 4 times in row although the chance of that was something like 20% In: COH2 Balance

It shows what patch is included to the custom range, and when it has been released. So change the custom range accordingly I mean that if the patch date was marked on the calendar it would be easier to select the correct date. In: Lobby

Is the Scott delivering too much damage? I always find them flimsy and difficult to protect when being flanked on account of USF lacking even a general purpose mine to permanently disable an aggressive P4 or P5 push. The baby mines just give you a bit more time to react and sometimes that isn't enough. We've got to be careful with this unit, though. With USF's lack of non-doctrinal rocket artillery, something has to be able to punish blobs. A USF blob can punish an enemy blob. In: COH2 Balance

You have to look at data for balanced matches at high level play. Let's do that: Last 1v1 tourney had Allies winning 100% in the final. Currently Allies are winning at 90% in the 4v4 tourney. Does that tell you anything? I'm sure it wont. Is that accurate or are you exaggerating? It would really funny if allies doing that good after the patch and the number of thread about how bad USF are kept increasing. In: COH2 Balance

Generally speaking I would try making some of these units have cloak as an ability with cd instead of a passive and that includes ostheer doctrinal camo. (one could even expand that to moving camo part for units like commandos/ST/Partisan in order to require more decision making on the part of the player when trying to navigate the battlefield) The XP is at pioneer level which is simply too low. As for the elite carbines (not the scoped one)is has profile that is simply bad for the unit. It does not work well with the scoped ones since it has low far DPS while allow the unit to fight even when rushed because it has great close DPS. Imo pathfiner vision should be nerfed but Vet3 camo should be in vet1. I am not against US having a cloaking unit its about the combination of large sight, the ability to cloak and move while cloaked (once vetted). Imo reckon units should be support units and not fighting units. In: COH2 Balance

The critical kill mechanism could be turned into a timed ability to avoid ""critical kill blobs" The idea here is to design it as clearly support unit that does nto scouting and not fighting. Turning critical kill to a timed ability (not one shot like in COH1) would balance the mechanism while increasing player's decision making. In: COH2 Balance
