Personally I found the kv8 very useful in Soviet insdustry, with two repair options available it can terrorize infantry all day. If I need something that can counter other tanks, then I just get Su 85s. The fuel drop usually works around mid game, leading to early tanks, such as an early kv8 while there is nothing to counter it. I like the repair stations too much as they can really help non-usf allies. I just think the axis fuel drop is vastly superior to the allied one. In: COH2 Gameplay

It's a tank based commander but without something better than the 76 it falls flat. Not to mention the fuel drop is utterly useless. 100 munitions for 30 fuel that gets shot down the moment any AA hits the field? Honestly, why is the allied fuel drop so awful compared to the Ost one which is such better value, can be used for munitions too and can't be shot down. In: COH2 Gameplay

They are defensive and are vulnerable to the same things defensive units are. Late game they protect your other harder hitting AT. plinking away and stopping your case mate TDs from getting circle strafed. Well if we are going to be pedantic, all infantry and support weapons are vulnerable to rocket arty XD But with shreks/bazookas the initial volley can still do decent damage and you can keep moving while they reload. If you move around with penals nothing would ever get damaged. In: COH2 Balance

They make it so the enemy will not dive you. Plus they have low but steady AT DPS due to deflection damage. They have different roles but neither should retain their capacity to fight infantry, certainly not elite infantry, when upgraded into AT The AT satchel is their only saving grace for the late game. They can do small amounts of damage that can add up but to utilise their ptrs rifles they have to be stationary/in the area for a long time. Making them easy pray for any enemy with rocket arty. At least pgrens have to think long and hard about it. But AT penals are worthless beyond the early game unless they get a lucky satchel off. Pzgrens are absolute AT beasts, hence why the change is more polarising. In: COH2 Balance

The enemy teams eventually gets cocky enough to dive with all their tanks but instead meets a withering barrage of AT guns. Time after time the winning team will put all their eggs in one basket then decide to hurl that basket off a cliff. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: How to deal with panzerschreck brummbar combo23 Aug 2020, 15:45 PM Your USSR teammate needs to focus on rocket artillery as he's the only one that gets a decent nondoc version. USF, use Pak howis but don't invest too heavily in them if there's an OKW as the Stuka will cancel them out in no time. UKF, churchills can keep the enemy occupied long enough for your allies to team up on them/help. Mines everywhere. especially to protect the Katyushas from diving tanks. If they get to vet 3 the enemy infantry problem will be massively reduced. Also, the odd medium tank dive into the Ost base to wipe damaged Pzgrens can really help. Just keep driving into them to crush and stop them taking aim. In: COH2 Balance

M4C is a brilliant glass cannon but it's anti-infantry abilities aren't enough to warrant picking it over a Jackson or upgraded sherman with dozer blade. In: COH2 Balance

The sweepers would make them repair and spot for mines. Enough to balance back the whole faction imo. Yeah, we saw your first post saying the exact same thing. So long as it locked out the stg I guess it wouldn't be too obscene. In: COH2 Balance
