Thread: Winter Patch Buglist 20217 Mar 2021, 12:02 PM Haven't had time to test it again but me and my brother were both using UKF Commando 'Assault' ability (on whiteball should that matter). It seemed that each time a plane was shot down it wasn't replaced in the next use. Ended up with just 2 planes on the recon sweep by the last time I used it. In: COH2 Bugs

The commander is too much of a no brainer. Every time I play against a UKF they invariably pick Royal Artillery, it's just such a misery having the entire frontline under near constant flares. Spec Ops flares ofc need to go too. In: COH2 Balance

I'd rather have their vet improved or something given to make them something more then ninja capper and mine layer after initial call-in. They either need a durability upgrade available after their initial shock value or something to give them more potent long range damage while remaining squishy. Adding a fifth man with vet wouldn't hurt either. Also, if the UKF and US could benefit from spy network would make it more user friendly while playing with randoms. In: Lobby

The Crew repairs ability might better be replaced by another feature that helps to embrace the vehicle focus in this commander. I was thinking of either, ptrs for conscripts,marktarget, the dankhunter tank camouflage or the good old engineer scav upgrade, to redeem more resources from tanks u lost. I also saw someone saying that the kv8 should be replaced by t34/85. I think it should be replaced by the kv1 maybe. other wise it looks to much like another version of armored assault to me. In my proposoal u can have armored assault symbolizing the later ww2 sovjet heavy armor tactics and sovjet industry tactics the early ww2 heavy armor with the kv1 and kv2 which were early sovjet ww2 tanks if i remember correctly. Yeah crew repairs does seems superfluous in light of the repair stations ability. Either replace it entirely or add it to the repair stations slot as it can't do much harm. Generally its better to put the muni into repair stations anyway. The KV1 would also be a good replacement for the KV8. In: Lobby

Soviet Industry: replace KV8 with T34/85 or KV1. This commander is clearly supposed to be armour orientated but the t34-76 doesn't cut the mustard in team games. Thread: question re: team games22 Feb 2021, 22:31 PM I just search up one of their steam names (if they have an unusual name helps) then look on their friends list to see if I can spot the 3 other members. If so I usually /leave after explaining that it's just not worth the the time playing against full premades with randoms. I usually play allies so wait times aren't generally an issue. No point trying to stick it out against a team of sweats that are usually toxic. Better to leave and find a better game than wait for the inevitable 'EZ' and shit talking from 'SS Wiking Blue 1st Larp Div'. As axis 4v4 tends to be a more gentle experience so I usually stick it out. In: COH2 Gameplay

Genral Mud is one of my favourite maps as allies as it's one of the few maps large enough to flank the enemy or sneak around behind them on a quieter part of the map. As allies my main veto is La Gleize. It's just a misery to play. Lienne forest can also be a pain vs a premade with Supply drop as the fuel point is so safe. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: British counter barrage is broken17 Feb 2021, 12:11 PM Getting rid of all counter-battery and call in flare abilities would improve the balance of team games immensely. Would love to see the 25pdr as a buildable unit. Or maybe a 'weaker' version of the 17pdr thats just a reskinned Pak43. Thread: PAK-43, static Howitzers, and Emplacements rework.14 Feb 2021, 13:51 PM I view the 17pdr and Pak43 as single use units. Once the enemy knows their location they are often rendered worthless. I'd rate the Pak43 over the 17pdr due to its cheaper price and ability to shoot through shit blockers. Static artillery is fine, although the LefH is far superior to the ML20 and CB is borderline broken. In: COH2 Balance
