Dude, captain and his "on me" and smoke is indispensable in game. Literally just walk your riflemen first into an MG, quick suppression, On Me!, run behind the MG. It's super effective. How can anyone not use the captain!?
I agree, "On me!" is what I hate the most as an OST player. It's super effective. Always aim to get that captain out as quickly as possible if you play as OST. |
Do i have to switch to beta to play 64bit or has the main-game been switched to 64bit by default after the update?
Thanks
A version of CoH2 still exists in 32bit, but you might not be able to fully experience the game as it should be if you don't use the latest 64bit version. Most modern CPUs from the last ten years are 64 bits, so it shoulnd't be a problem if you have a modern PC.
To access the 32bit legacy version, follow the steps from:

32 Bit Legacy Beta
For the very small minority of players whose hardware does not allow them to run the new 64 Bit update, we have created a 32 bit legacy beta on Steam.
To access this beta, follow these steps:
Right Click Company of Heroes 2 on Steam
Select Properties
Navigate to the Betas Tab
Select “legacy_32bit” from the drop town
Close the Properties window
Your game should now patch to the legacy version
game is now 64 bit

That's partially incorrect. The game is still out for 32 bit users. See legacy mode above. |
I have many times.
It involves getting "withdraw and refit" back (in redesigned form) and designed the commander around heavy LV play.
You keep deflecting the question. How would you redesign it? You cannot just sprinkle the word redesign to have to fix everything. |
Ok at this point the only reason you posting is to prove I made mistake and you are grasping so much that come up with "long range artillery" something I have never posted but you have imagined.
But you did post that clearly though. SkysTheLimit is right, don't tell he is imagining things. The source you show contradicts your posts too. It is your posts are written using evasive, unclear, and confusing English. Also you keep editing your posts AFTER they have been posted and changed things quickly! All of that kind of allows you to change your point really easily. You made a mistake, just accept it and move on. |
I said it before, but the report is bugged, inaccurate, utterly random, very confusing, it ignores loads of gameplay (example AT bouncing counts as hits and sometimes not, depends on units), AoE is ignored on most weapons, it's very unclear of its calculation of any part, it doesn't like mods, it's asynchronous between players, calculates world objects damage (but not all of them), its asynchronous between units, and there's loads of other nonsense stuff I can't and won't list. |
I would not, in any circumstances, take into account the end game stats for any balance discussions, or for any measurements of any kind.

Please ignore the end game report. it is only useful for just a bit of fun and trivia after a match, but that's all. Too much fudge otherwise. You get more from a replay or match video. |
222 become build able instead of upgrade. The old mu upgrade was bad but removing 221 was a mistake. 222 could become an upgrade cost manpower/fuel or separate vehicle. Then i could be delay and 221 could be a soft counter to micro light and hard counter to sniper. In addition 222 followed the rest of light vehicles and received a buff to accuracy via veterancy in every vet level.
WC51 received several buff mostly during DBP (if I remember correctly).
Please check AND include the dates of these "recent" additions, they've been out for years. The other week, you tried to pass something from 2016 as recent.. |
That is a result of many factors but primarily that increase of power level of light vehicles because their window of opportunity has become smaller.
You couldn't be any more wrong. No changes to LV at all. It was the rise of early infantry call in that dominated that tournament and players adapted their metagame. |
(In reference to OKW/USF) These faction where designed without back teching. If one want them to have back teching one will have to tone down their unit as it constantly begin done with pack howizter. Removing a "design" weakness without removing a "design" strength simply does not work.
You have to provide hard evidence if you state those as fact. Because these factions were designed to be as dynamic as possible to whatever was happening on the battlefield, and not wrongfully, without back tech-ing in its mind. |
If you had an argument, there would be a reason to respond but you do not have an argument other "I would spam them". Which does not really qualify for argument.
"I would spam them" is a perfectly valid argument. If bunkers on grens are free or very cheap 50MP, everyone would spam them all over the map on every possible opportunity, at every choke point, close to bridges, or anywhere that messes up pathfinding, or anywhere where possible battles would exist, ready for quick upgrades. People do that with sandbags already, but bunkers are larger, block more surface, are easier to place, has more HP, messes up pathfinding, cannot be crushed by vehicles, and have several upgrade paths. "Spamming" is a very valid argument that you must accept, even if you do not seem to understand the reasoning. |
