Thread: OKW vs US - Review please27 Oct 2015, 09:23 AM http://www.coh2.org/replay/43659/okw--for-review-purposes Even though I won out in the end, I think I could have done better but not sure on how. The US double BAR rifles limited my infantry play while the Pack Howitzer was a constant worry. Lost 2 Rocket halftracks to suicidal Shermans as well due to poor micro. Not anything to do with the fact that wehr version was cheaper, had same effectiveness, came at 6 CP and the doctrine had menpower to muni instant conversion ability without cooldown, together with three other completely and utterly overpowered things. And for the listed reasons it was not added, but given how UKF plays out, I dont even think that commander is extreme anymore. It is just the new Meta. In: COH2 Balance

Give OKW and Ostheer strategic bombing to mirror operation Steinbock and bombing of Stalingrad respectively in a separate doctrine. Problem solved. That way, UK emplacements can all get wiped like OKW trucks since they are all "too close together" and "built too aggressively" as suggested by other members. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Coh 2 small arms ranges confusion4 Oct 2015, 09:18 AM I think a good way to think about it is that all weapon have a "curve" when it's DPS is plotted on a chart. For submachine guns/ close quarter weapons, that curve would be steep. At long range, the curve will be low but it increases exponentially as distance decrease. Bolt action curve will be near flat line, near equal across all distance. That's my view of it, and I am probably wrong In: COH2 Gameplay
