Thread: OKW vs. Sov. 1v125 Nov 2015, 12:20 PM If it is a dense blob, all trying to simply rush forward, just use a MG-34 or Kubel to suppress. With some luck, the MG-34 will be useful, and the Kubel wont do doughnuts. Other than that, you just need to get an ISG out if possible, or survive until you can call in Fallschrimjagers or Obersoldaten for blob control. Do try to get 1 raketen and 1 shreck volks by lets say.... 7 minutes in or that Russian light tank (T-60?) can cause some havoc. Infiltration nades from Salvage or spec ops works. The Infrared Stg on Obers also work. This is from my standpoint though, and I am not an amazing player. In: Strategy Desk

Not to mention the repair truck. As for ost and sov engies you need to upgrade them with flamer, not sweeper to get fastest repair speed because with flamer they can get vet and engineer vet makes repairs faster. Also mind that brits need that repair speed to repair churchills - heavy tanks that have only one advantage, health. That makes it critical to repair fast. Sturm pio also cost significantly more, and takes up more pop cap. So they kinda MUST perform better, or they are a waste of space and a liability. In: COH2 Gameplay

Once I started using the conversion hotswap I came to the same conclusion. It's part of the reason I'm so disappointed with it being removed in the patch preview.
