You'd have thought Relic could have at least done a QA pass on the patch text. There are still typos in it. (Stand Fast, Air Supremacy Operation, Airborne Assault and M83 Cluster Mines so far and Fire Up still isn't fixed)
They can afford to write all this fancy PR text in their patch announcements but they can't afford to run the patch the community modders made and balanced for them for free through a spell checker?
At this point I'd be happy to polish up the commander text myself if that's what it takes.

Would love that, but seeing "Kubelwagon" and "251 Wurferman Stuka" in the patch notes gives me not much hope. Especially Wurferman is hilarious. That's a new level of creativity. |
Since then was Hamlet on the removal list? Did I miss that in the original post or did Kyle edited it?

After reading the complete list once again, I noticed that the Universal Carrier got shared veterancy (great thing), but the Kübelwagen didn´t. Was that already introduced in an earlier patch? (I am a bit confused with all the revamps, patch previews...)
If not whats the reason? I mean bringing the UC to vet 3 isn´t that hard (the vehicle can kill effectively after all) but for the Kübel it's a lifelong dedication to even see vet 3.
Also King Tiger vet requirements should be lowered after the nerfs. |
For generalist tank etc prioiritise vehicle, I also wanted to change the overhead ugly and intrusive yellow icon with the squad-shield padlock from brace. That way it takes up less space, and you can also keep track of unit status from the unit shields in the top-right, or also from the tactical minimap. Same story
And whats Mirageflas reasoning behind this? It sounds great. |
Maybe add the reinforcement possibility for falls to valiant assault as well?

weapon indicators would be a great addition to hull down, but it would a UI clusterfuck if every tank has it by default. Just imagine a 4vs4 with 5+ tanks at the same spot and all with the indicators on. |
I still think a sound cue in form of an overflying plane would solve a lot of the issues Cluster bombs have at the moment. If you hear the sound of the plane, you know something is going on, then start to look around spot the red smoke and then you should have enough time to react accordingly. Also plane plus red smoke is unique in this commander so at least in 1vs1 you would know whats coming. |

I think the cluster bombs need another warning sign. Right now you only see them if you are looking right on the spot they are dropped. No sign on the minimap or callout from what I have heard.
Maybe let a bomber (or just the plane sound) flyover, so there's at least an acoustic warning, that something is happening. |
Another problem with OKW units. For example. raketen. It sucks not vetted, but vetted is very OP. I think base perfomance should be buffed and veterancy nerfed.
For most units that already happened. Look at vet 4 Ober Suppression, Jagdpanzer first strike bonus damage etc. Also I dont think any other OKW unit needs a vet 0 buff, that hasn´t been buffed already (MG 34, Raketen in some way). |
