USF indirects got nerfed because most of the balance team had a problem with them, along with some of the more prominent axis players. Sander, a purely OKW player along with Sturmpanther, a mostly axis player, gave in to these "demands" as they were going in their favour as well. There were thread after thread about CalliOP (calliope did deserve a nerf, but not in the health, but agility), or PakHowi OP. Balance team, mostly comprised of axis players, were probably delighted to see it and therefore nerfed pakhowi AOE dmg without giving it anything in return. Well, they did make it a 6 man again but that is meaningless as all the models are clumped up so you get no extra survivability vs indirects, and it's still horribly agile, meaning the run'n'gun unit that is chasing the pakhowi will maybe take 3 seconds longer to kill. So that was just a gimmick to make it seem "balanced". I mean, in most of my games I play double pak howi since one is just useless in 3v3s, and the time it takes them to reach vet3 through barrages/autofire is around 30 minutes. Imagine. A 3v3 game with so many units takes the pak howi so long to vet up. Again, pak howi needed an autofire accuracy nerf so that moving players would not get punished and the static ones would. Right now the static ones are not punished as much due to the lack of any sort of shell-shock from the first shell, due to hard AOE nerf.
Again, why would the balance team, which is mainly comprised of axis teamgame oriented teams, strive to balance the game when they can abuse the position and the will of the forum to ease up their game
I take it the Earth is flat also, chemical trails are changing the climate and vaccinations are a government conspiracy against the general populace? |
Because complaining about RECON UNITS sight is just as retarded as complaining about ATGs owning vehicles or snipers one-shotting infantry models, especially considering the fact that their sight is no greater then any other recon unit.
This isn't surprising coming from you, but you still FAILED to mention the timing in which Pathfinders enter the game, with godly sight compared to any other unit available to any other faction at that time of the game. So please, until you play your first Axis game - be quiet and keep your allied fan boy opinions to yourself. |
Dont have much access to vehicles up until the 12 min mark unless I rush for a centaur at the 10 minute mark if he's blobbing which is going to delay my Comet, or wait until the 12-14 min mark to get a Comet and be relatively safe against any PZ4 or Panther rush.
My only option at that point would be to make another Vickers or a Sniper or double sniper, but we all know thats a very risky play and manpower intensive with less payoff compared to OST/SOV sniper since the UKF sniper shoots slower.
AEC is your friend, so is Infantry Officer and Vickers HMG and so are double brens and also 5 man engineer squads with flamers (doctrine specific).
If you are getting overrun by Falls because you are rushing tech for a fast 12-13 minute comet instead of building some AI counters or stalling tactics in to your build - well unfortunately that is an L2P issue. |
In 2v2, this is the worst meta I have ever experienced since picking up the game in 2013. Nowadays, in mid-level coh games it is just about literally blobbing every unit you have. There is absolutely no skill involved and it is super effective. It is borderline retarded how stupid and unfun the game is at the moment. And the worst is that top 200 players do exactly the same. You have no early engagements anymore as every player just gathers 3-4 units right from the start and then blobs somewhere. It is frustrating and horrendous to play.
Why are you using Maxims anyway? Why wouldn't you just make 4 x Penal Battalion and blob them back? Throw in a flamer or two, get some shock troops?
Would you rather seem Maxim buff and go back to the old days of Maxim spam? Surely, you must agree that was cancer. Why wouldn't you simply just get a AA HT as well.
Your issue really just sounds like L2P, to be honest. |
Whermacht Officers have the same vision range as far as infantry goes. You also have access to spotting scopes and almost all of your Vehicles get the same or more range than Pahtfinders.
Wehrmacht officers come at 2CP, spotting scopes 5CP. You have made a comparison of Ost vehicles against Infantry. You need to take a lie down. |
I see none of you have mentioned the extra sight they have, which is broken. They provide so much sight range against Ost who rely on good positing and placement of MG's early - this unit is far too good at sighting for flanks.

What the others said, plus:
If you're looking for someone that is maphacking, you'd do much better to turn fog of war on, then click follow camera. It will show you where the person is actually looking. I've ran into some obvious map hackers who spent most of their time looking deep in the fog of war. Some people are better at it and just look a little distance into it.
Looking in the fog of war is a regular for me, I look for trees being knocked over and other items of the terrain etc, indicating armour moving through the area. I'd suggest many players do exactly the same thing, so a player looking into the fog of war is not a great sign of MH.
Better to look for other signs, like tech choices, avoiding mines and launching attacks in the weakest points of your army with no scouting.

Except Obers come at 10+ minutes and Sturms (who are much worse than PGs) fall off hard literally minutes after the game begins. Fusiliers have the trade off of being weaker yet more expensive from the start which is not ideal in 1v1s. Jaegers I must admit are pretty flawless.
Sturmpioneers are one of the best units in the game. If you aren't getting vet 3-4-5 for them as the game progresses then again, you are playing the game poorly. Sturmpioneers, are excellent at hiding behind shot blockers and cover and launching a surprise attack against at close range against unsuspecting enemy. |
It's not quite that easy. OKW loses if they don't have momentum because their starting infantry gets worse comparatively to their opponents as time passes. The best advice is probably to push aggressively at the 6-8 minute powerspike when Volks unlock StGs, your HQ unlocks MG34s, and your light vehicles start to come out.
You cherry picked only part of what I said. I said;
1. Spread out and cap
2. Plant mines
3. Play hit and run, meaning only fight battles you can win or just chip away at his health and run.
If this is too hard, then the problem is with how you are playing. |
Medic crates are not Vet 1, they're stock. Unless you suggest abusing stun grenades for whatever reason.
Even better then. |
