the USF mortarlol, just ended a game, 40 minutes lenght, vet3 and 7 kills. with an average of 30mp per model (and I take the upper level), 7*30 = 210mp, in 40 minutes, I haven't even be able to pay for it...
You do know you get xp for how much damage is done not how much you kill right? Next time look up its actuall damage in the game stats. |
With volks screening. USF lights don't have the alpha damage to properly pop in and hurt them. Mortars work but the mortar being required for every build order screams there's a design issue.

Volks arnt a tough unit and JLI don't do enough damage anyways even with their snipe. Furthermore if you really don't like them put a bar on a pathfinder squad which is superior to JLI in every way |
Kubel is way too durable and volks need to be 260 MP at least.

they don't have it right away plus FHQ cost 250mp + 200 mp for repair yet again giving a even bigger mp "advantage" to enemy army. the key is speed, destroy it b4 it's rentable. it's not hard in early due to lack of strength on ukf part and it's not really harder in late considering arty ability and stukastufus/lefh etc.

222 is the best light vehicle in the game, especially when you put in the price table and the vehicles he competes with.
Stugs and panthers are the best tanks in their role, makes allies tanks completely useless and the only way to counter it is to suicide rush and hope for the best.
their infantry dominates all game and at vet 3 they are more than okay, and all they have to do is cap points while the superior armor deals with everything else.
Pwerfer is super OP late game, it insta wipe squads pretty much every volley and the ones that survive get pinned, making VP denial a huge deal late game. Also LeFH is OP as hell, much better than allied counterparts.
P4 is just superior than all allied stock mediums and still can keep up with the special ones (EZ8, T34-85) you really are not using them right.
and ost does have everything:
2 specialized mines that are very cheap and no other faction has without commander/tech. Tellers just make rushing vehicles a huge gamble.
The teching is excellent and fluid, you don't have to choose between snipers and ATs.
True heavy infantry (PG) without needing commanders.
And many other things that I will just waste time listing.
Ost has so many things that most of the times I just forget to pick a commander, only to just use a single thing on the commander (skill planes, dive bomb, mortar HT. All excellent options btw)

it's funny how in your eyes me, a brit player, is necessarily biased. i dare you to find a goodplayer (both side) replay with brits simcity winning (in which axis side lose cannot be explained by stupid choice), so i can judge for myself. i will be waiting. i'm curious to see it, dat pit which is trash in my hands (vs player dat know what they are doing) being so op.

Always found mortarpit badly designed (&weak).
Wehr can burst it in 5sec with mg AT rounds or 221 (brace won't save it, 221 can even destroy it thru edge, sneaky or not).
wehr can destroy it by simply building the static howie lefh (which is rentabilized simply by destroying pit, all the free bleed/wipe is bonus). pioFT (in a house next to pit or not) can do the job too. I don't remember seeing a pnzrwerfer shoting at pit but it's not expected, brit won't brace so it could do substantial damage to it.
I think brumbar can nuke thru edge, a sneaky missile and pit or w/e is blown.
Okw can build a single ieig and outrange pit. it won't always lead to destruction but pressure will be there and RE gon have te repair pit, leading to possible RE wipe or bleed. RE will have to stay around pit meaning there will have less mines for him and more for you (yer are lesslikely to be removed).
Pioshrek (in house or not), volk incendary do great vs pit (the more incend u throw, the more damage there is). I don't remember if okw got AT rounds but like previously said, mg at rounds wreck pit).
stuka/cmdr artyes etc work too.
I never play simcity general but brit forward hq is even more vulnerable. cannot brace, got less health (i think). just bombard it or do anything u would for any other empacement. it's yer top priority if it's built.
To me building mortpit is like destroying schwerer HQ, doing it is asking to be raped. Destroying Schwerer HQ is drastically increasing chance to face onetankarmy konig and building pit increase chance to face 221FT which is super strong (moreover vs brit). or have pit destroyed by lefh which will braindead wipe squad in base or on vp when pit is no more).
ukf will have to play around pit to protect it. => less pressure around the map. if pit is far the front then even less pressure (just ignore it then). if it's too advanced then it's reached and big assault can destroy it.
i have less experience with bofors, it cost fuel and will be pressured/destroyed by even simple mortar.
As u are lowgrade, keep in mind that your enemy is not good. There is nothing he can do dat is unbeatable.

Mg34 requires a truck to be built, so it really isn't t0, the same way the king tiger isn't t0. |
