M2 .50 cal and Vickers MGs all preform poorly compared to ... OKW counter parts.

Howitzers are pretty ok right now.
SU's are good for putting on pressuring OKW bases to a dumb degree. Giving these the vet 2 and 3 cooldown bonus would mean that it would have practically 0 cooldown off the bat. Building on pretty much guarantees that the sturmpionier is completely out of the fight for the rest of the game.
OKW's are good for when you don't want to build a stuka and want to have some way of dealing with team weapons, like the 120mm or sim city, as the LeIG is terrible in that regard. It can even kill katyushas every once and awhile.
While I'm here, does the LEFH counter battery fire, fire any more accurately, or is its bonus purly the 0 micro requirements for it?

Plus if your KT is facing guards and penal without the ability to focus down penals (who get no rec acc buffs except to the last man)

And the point is that if you need your entire army to keep a KT alive, then that just proves how bad of a state it is in right now. For spending significantly more than any other unit in the game (plus tech costs) you would expect a unit to be quite good. There have been a lot of changes and buffs that are just "a player issue" (USF mortar: just use rifleman smoke and 640 HP Jacksons: just kite with 60 range come to mind) and yet those came into play, so such a similar excuse has no merit when it come to a KT that is obviously under performing. |

Infact if anything were to change, you would probably just come back and bitch about why all your tanks are being penetrated 3 times in a row. |

well not exactly... most units retain their use and do not become obsolete later in the game... the T-70 remains a scouting tank... the luchs aswell... the stug is the premier wehrmacht tank destroyer even after t4... engies and mainline infantry retain their uses...
And GASP as the game goes on longer that 35 muni baragge costs less and less.

and if XP value is the issue then its a simple matter of nerfing the XP requirements... the SU-76 is supposed to be a stopgap AT platform-capable HE platform as it was irl... SU-76s continued to be used till the end of ww2 and were the soviets main form of self propelled artillery like a priest or a wespe... but capable of going in like an assault gun... a job it kinda does badly now after the patch
its a good stopgap AT platform but is a pretty bad anti infantry platform now with the 35 point muni cost added to it... the problem is once you have teched to T4 the SU-76 becomes fully redundant... the katyusha/T-34 is better at killing infantry and the SU-85 is better at killing tanks... the other T3 units... the T-70 and the m5 HT still retain their uses as a recon tank and a reinforcement truck respectively... not to mention that recon tank wipes better than the T-34 does...
So what you're saying is that units that come later and are more expansive are make older units obsolete? Well that's kinda the point. |
Have you seen what a rifle grenade does to Riflemen or Infantry Sections? Have you seen what an MG42 equipped Gren sqaud or two behind some simple sandbags can do to 3 or 4 Riflemen or Infantry Sections when they try to close in to attack or capture a point..
This just in, using units well and having combined arms is strong, big deal.
Are you suggesting that 3-4 riflemen should be allowed to a move into grens and a machine gun in green cover and win? How are you that dumb? |
your panzer iv is not only non commander but has more armor than E8 you can put mines if RE have flames or more stealth raket panzer faust or panzer shreck E8 imo needs a buff preatty much lacking speed and lack luster cannon
P4 is probably a bad counter. Sure it has like 20 more armour than the E8, but the E8 has 45 more far pen than the P4.

ITT everyone argues KT stats and how to kill/lose KTs. Only one post refers to actually using the KT in a gameplay role, (defending a decisive territory point: a VP). To which the only response was a playercard demand.
Because just saying " just defend the CP with the KT" is easier said than done.
For one there are two other cps on the map that the KT isn't defending. |
