No one saying that IS-2 must be soviet verison of Pershing without flaws. IS-2 must be soviet KT with the same weaknesses and strong sides - slow and high cost unit, but powerfull. Now we have slightly cheaper KT with RNG cannon. You better prefer build instead of it 1-su85 and t-34 and got more advantages, than trying to hope that your IS-2 turn the game to your side. KT and Pershing in good hands could do that, but not IS-2. As said earlier, IS-2 give you only good defense state, but very unreliable in offensive.
There is no reason why the is2 should be the "be soviet KT" unless it were to require all tech buildings, we remove SU caches, and increase its cost. |
Bro, in a perfect situation yes rifle out damage volks. You have to take other factors into consideration. Rifle takes forever to fire snare, no sandbag, more expensive to reinforce, no long range damage.

Its not really just comparison as ost teching unlocks more then UKF one, hence higher cost.
It also means you'll have only about 90 seconds to counter 222 from the very second you get aec and this early in game time runs fast, its not really hard to play conservatively with one 222 until second arrives, its not like AEC can just dive for it.

There's one tiny problem with that.
You can literally ram any British infantry to death with 444 because no snares ever. Cover bonus? Lol have fun being pushed around like children. 444 can deal with both infantry and AEC very reliably. Any MP loss inflicted on Brits will be insane while having enough firepower to deal with 1 AEC.
Did you miss the part where he said that resources being equal means UKF can get an AEC while UKF can only get one 222?

The only tweak that I could see making a difference is changeling or removing the functionally of a vehicle pivioting prior to movement if one clicks close to the tank. I think this inconsistency is a major cause of vehicle issues.
Also if you haven't rebound u (reverse) to a more accessible key, you've already messed up. |
I like the idea of giving it a unique damage buff Vs forward trucks or lefh. It would make the unit a good dislodging tool.
