Thread too long ... why is everyone talking about changing FRP? The EFA have mobile halftracks for field reinforce for free, which can be handbraked now. Maybe add some ability to allow timed FRP.
USF, UKF and OKW FRP are expensive, and risk being artied when timed well; it also takes a long time and is expensive to replace (250+200 MP for brits, 100+200+300 for OKW) with exception of much cheaper USF major. A lot of times you lose squads not in combat, but while retreating back to the FRP. |
You hardly see high-level players spam emplacements, but 1-2 pits are hard to take out if supported properly. Any decent player will try to push back your mortar/leigs or go skill burst.
In mid-level tier, they are very annoying and not fun to play against; the key is pushing for the emplacement as soon as it's built in early game when there is little support for it (you opponent just sunk a lot of MP and unlikely to get an AT gun) so a fast Luchs or AT on it is very effective. Remember the best cure is prevention. |

Are you serious? Then use infantry to kills his AT blobs, don't be a noob. Rifles with zooks or Piats cant do crap vs axis men with that. Don't fight anti tank with TANKS.......
Punish his AT blob with troops, rifles without BARS or 30 cals, are fucked

OKW needs to go mech truck every game for luchs + puma and keep them alive; they make such a noticeable different mid game. In high-level play Saving for late game vehicles first will almost invariably lose the game since OKW infantry alone have a very hard time standing up to their allied counterparts. |
Kryptic got bad luck in that scene, but it didn't lose him the game (if you don't count the psychological damage it did); it's too easy to entirely blame the loss on that.
During that engagement I was cringing at the p4 micro as it consistently showed its rear armour while the stuart missed plenty of times after the main gun crit.
However, I do feel the stun ability needs to decrease the rate of fire of the main gun as it's too easy to chain stun a vehicle to death, and the USF critical repair needs to be at least > 5 seconds especially when compared to the lackluster OKW variant.
The current state of the stuart forces a Puma to counter it, and every time I go Puma, the stuart never becomes a problem. |

Sturmtiger+Jagdtiger combination is just so badass on this map.. will the allies be able to counter it with their strong cruiser tanks and artillery? Epic battle for the middle VP with mg and ISG spam support
Both teams see their VPs drain to less than 20!
