The community skins project is an amazing idea; money to support the game, fund future tourneys, and the artist while drawing from the talent of the community. Win-win-win for all. |
A lot of people think that CoH2 may not be truly innovative, and that it has been more refinement. Developing an RTS with asymmetric factions is not easy and takes a lot of iteration, and they seem to have gone with tried and tested base formula from vCoH, and added stuff like vaulting, truesight, and blizzards.
Relic admitted blizzards, while a cool concept ;-), was detrimental to gameplay and removed it from automatch. Perhaps other things related to RNG such as vehicle abandon as well, but the point is they aren't perfect though we still invest time into their games since we love them to some extent. It's like a retarded child; retarded, but you still love him. |
You don't necessarily notice the difference, but it's there. A penetration that otherwise maybe wouldn't have occured, an entity or squad wipe that could have been a miss, or a retreat which would have been later.
In theory, yes, but the quantity is so small that it won't make a real difference in gameplay. And yes, the sight and range bulletins do make a noticeable difference; 3xsoviet sniper range bulletins give about vet 3 range off the bat. Plus my favourite is 3x ostwind suppression bulletins. Insta pinning squads is really funny. |
I would personally suggest using the infantry based bulletins as you are going to be using these units all the time compared to tanks which come out much later. Furthermore most games are normally won or lost around the 20 minute mark and normally before tanks can be used. So I say make the most of your infantry and give the bulletins to them.
For example my current bulletins for Ost are:
-Veteran Training Infantry: 2% increased accuracy 3% increase health for conscripts and grenadiers
-Brotherly Love (German): 2% increased accuracy 3% increase health for Mg42s
- Hit the Deck!: 10% increase suppression for MG42s
These bulletins work great for my 2 gren 2 mg build.
If people couldn't notice say, for example, a +40% accuracy boost missing for fusiliers at vet 2 when vet was broken then how much do you think it's placebo for a 2% stacked bulletin? |
The ability to manually reload its magazine could be interesting too (also for HMG teams). Sometimes when the enemy makes an attack, the Ostwind makes 1-2 shots before a long reload/cooldown. |
Sounds like OP plays a lot of 3v3+ games. That's why I went back to 2v2 since everyone blobs in 4v4, you get more resources to build arty, and it just becomes arty fest. However mortars for all factions perhaps should be changed to encourage more mirco in using barrage rather than letting them auto-fire. |
The language also reeks of April's foolishness. Writing style and language. |
I speak 5 languages and have a PhD degree, how many languages you speak? (barely English? oh sorry I meant american! lmao) and I don't need to prove myself to a no lifer kid like you, but still I can't see the massive win streak in ur playercard as you mentioned?
hahahahahaha. You're a hilarious guy. |
what's all that bullshit and what does it have to do with anything I said?!! I just pointed out to controversy in ur shit talking, u don't need to get mad!
Well walked into that one. No point even talking with someone who don't even have the basic English language skills who appear to live in Australia let alone logic :-). |
too bad I couldn't see any of those "massive win streaks" in your playercard! lol
Well you don't seem to be a pleasant chap. Don't think stroking your ego noob bashing randoms in 4v4 AT means anything. The pool of top ATs to get matched against is small; you'll get top ranks if you beat even a few. If want to be a real man, play 4v4 randoms and see your true skill in carrying randoms. It's not strictly about the streaks, it's about your win ratio. Let see you getting 0.9+ win in 1v1 or 2v2s.
