That a big majority of the playerbase doesnt care about multiplayer/automatch. Yet somehow you wanna argue with WFA balance now. RTS isn't mainstream because you don't learn the basics in ~1 hour like in a shooter game. And not because there isnt enough crazy stuff in automatch. I get your point when a game is seemingly prioritizing balance over fun but I think you can do that without flooding the ranked automatch with crazy bullshit mechanics that often only lead to fun for one side but not both. Add official fun game modes to the game and give the community access to very powerful modding tools etc. In: Lobby
Thread: Penals PPSH21 Mar 2022, 13:17 PM Sadly the PPsH penal squad kinda had to be nerfed out of the game in order to implement necessary nerfs for SVT conscripts (without doing complex dps adjustments to SVT cons that you cant fix afterwards if it's underpowered, cuz it's last patch of coh2) CQC units already struggle in the current meta of coh2 and ppsh penals got it the worst I'd say. Their dps is very high because they have shocktroop ppsh and the highest accuracy vet bonus in coh2, but they die very fast and got nothing to protect themselves. In: COH2 Gameplay

Some people don't want to or can't play with control groups. And the latter is best to be avoided by a good automatic cheat detection system, no matter if the game is free or not.... instead of banning them and praying that they don't buy the game again for 5$ on some steam keys site. Would love to see the business model from e. g. Halo: Infinite in CoH3. Multiplayer is free, but you have to pay for the Campaign/Singleplayer content and for battlepass In: COH2 Gameplay
