1. Rush to a flamer halftrack 251, if possible, combine it with a mortar who smokes the bofors (destroy it after that with flamer 251 ground attack) Another possibility: get a sniper to recon the emplacements, and destroy them with 1 or 2 pak 40´s from distance

2. Get 1 or 2 panzergrens with schrecks, to either destroy the emplacements really quick or force them to brace... other units like paks or 251 or 222 etc can finish them off then!

3. If they get many many emplacements in mid or late game, DON´T PANIC! Just try to find a way to attack 1 emplacement after another, so that the other emplacements can´t support/defend the one you attack at the moment

4. Don´t forget to get Tellers and paks for backup, they will try to push with comets or cromwells in most of the cases

In this match, I did not get t1 units except 1 mortar... maybe not the best decision, it is not mandatory to do that. Feel free to keep up your own, individual strat, you just should try to implement those steps into your gameplay if you wanna smash sim cities.

Man I wish your first option worked in higher lvl play. I tried this tactic only to find out Bofors has attack ground. GG right then and there on semoskiy, now a permanent veto.

I'm not a top player by any means but wasn't it already stated many times by most top players that cancer is perfectly counterable and not even often used in their part of ladder?

Correct but sometimes you get a bad map with a bad teammate against 2 decently high players and it becomes impossible to counter. Sim city requires teamwork to destroy and sometimes you just gotta carry the team. My evenings are during a time when very few ppl are on so the matches are more often lopsided. During the weekends I can play earlier in the day and get more consistent ranked matches.

In AT games I don't use the commander nor have a problem with it.

By the way, 2 things I would like to add :D :

1. About counter battery ability of the cancer regiment: When activated, use the "stop auto fire" command of your mortars (in case you have one) Counter battery requires much munition after June 21st Patch... if you react quick, it is a great munition loss for your opponent, besides that he needs to deactivate the ability in case he want's to produce units or use his HQ howitzers active (with flare mark target) :)

2. If your inf, especially your pzgrens, meet an activated bofors, push the retreat button after they fired their first rocket/ after the bofors opened fire :) Never wait until only 1 or 2 men of the squad are left
