Maybe, but CoH3 is on a completely different level. All the handholding by Relic for casual players, the model cap on explosive weapons, auto-reinforce, damage reductions, higher TTK, auto-vault etc etc just lowered the skill ceiling so damn hard. I'm surprised they haven't added an auto-retreat feature on low HP units yet

The target audience of CoH3 is casual players, which I fully understand from a business standpoint, but the things mentioned above simply "destroyed" high level gameplay I think. You cannot really separate high micro, high game sense top level players from "decent" players anymore.

This is seriously the most magnificent story put together ever. I can’t believe how magical it was at 0:36. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 2:48 hat part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. So the solution is allow troops to turn paratroopers into swiss cheese while they drop instead of giving them Halo energy shields, not make it so that a unit which is SUPPOSED to excel at harassing back lines worse at doing what it's supposed to do.


If someone's using them as a summon in the middle of a crowded battlefield, then they shouldn't be allowed to get away with it, I absolutely agree, but if someone drops paratroopers behind the fuckin' Maginot line staffed by three tumbleweeds and twenty bunkers, they should damn well be able to wreak havoc.
