As DAK, you are playing the COH2 OKW vs UKF experience and then some. So go play WM unless you're prepared to deal with the uphill struggle ahead of you.
What are you on about? With 210 armor Stug Ds, Propaganda arty (which you can't counter), combined arms counter blob and the stuka, DAK has one of the best if not the best tools in the whole game to counter the current "blob near a heal truck" meta
Even though I doubt that any significant amount of resources was diverted from the gameplay team to implement the store, for sure it took time off the main menu UI devs that could've been used to update the main menu properly. There's still a ton of stuff missing there, besides the arguably poor overal design.
And even though I personally don't think that that's such a big deal, I do feel Relic made a very big PR mistake by pushing the store (which is a bit controversial too on the economic side) while the game is in this bad of a release state. I get that they want to make money, but this seems to be actively hurting the fanbase's perception and reviews and ultimately sales in the long run. Which scares me a bit because the core of the game is fun and has a ton of potential, and I'm sure that Relic will eventually patch this game far beyond CoH2 if they keep supporting it. But if sales stagnate because of bad public reception/reviews caused by this rocky release and follow-up, then they or Sega might just pull the plug early.
I'm gonna say this patch is a disappointment for the multiplayer base, especially teamgames, and I'm hoping a real balance patch along with replays and player names is coming very soon...
Releasing the game half broken, then only minor fixes after one month, followed by a focus on an ingame store that has manipulative selling strategies and accompany this by a token "freemium" system as an excuse just shows that Relic has no interest in releasing a quality game. There's so much stuff missing from the main game, and their focus is on a predatory store.
But I really don't get where people are coming from with this "they prioritized the store over fixing the game or adding features!", like how exactly do you come to the conclusion that they pulled manpower & resources away from balance patches and features so that they can rush the store out? In fact, it is very likely that it's completely separate teams working on those things.
Jaegershreks while being badly designed are not as near as bad.
Jägerschrecks have a very low target size, making it nearly impossible to bleed them. They also have G43's stock which are good vs inf and they have a 160 damage 4 seconds reload Panzerschreck which can one-shot clumped squads
As comparison, a bazooka deals 60, BOYS AT rifles 50 and a medium tank 120 damage. You don't need a snare if you have the dps of the Panzerschreck
Im sorry but saying they're "not even nearly as bad" gives me the impression you never played against good Jäger spammers before
- You cant complain about AT sections without talking about Jäger Schreck blobs
- I think a big reason for why the blobbing is so disgusting right now is the fact how dumb and OP the heal-trucks on the frontline are, especially with auto-reinforce enabled so you can literally shut your brain off.
Another reason for this is weak MGs with bugs as well

Suppressed squads seem to have 0 suppression recovery penalties if they're getting shot at like they did in CoH2...
1v1 balance matters regardless of whether you or he plays it
No it does absolutely not. I can already guarantee you that if pathfinders are broken in 1v1, then it's because of the map control they give you. A factor that is almost irrelevant in 2v2+ and especially on a tight map where it's about frontal assaults and manstop-power
Ye i know, that is based on common 1v1 opinions among top players. Im not talking about punishing low rank 2v2 players. I gave that advice of early vehicle push as well but it simply wont work out against anyone halfway decent.
As you seem to like some research go around and ask top 20 of 1v1 and 2v2 what they'd think about pathfinder spam and especially how well a HT or Motorcycle works against 50 ammo Boy's Brits covering them up even further.
Neither me nor you play 1v1, so why does it matter how strong or OP pathfinders are in 1v1.
And this thread is about pathfinders, not AT rifle spam from another player. If a brit teammate has to help out his pathfinder teammate after 4 minutes already, the strat cant be that busted now can it. And that would either mean the USF guy has to go over to the other side or the brit has to send over section(s) that are missing from his side, allowing your axis teammate to cap his whole side
