Yes, the Schrek problem had to be adressed but the trucks were simply too much. Yeah OKW shouldn't have side-teching. They should get stuff like healing, auto repairs, AA for free even though every other faction pays for those things because uh... well, ya know, just because. Also let's not forget that they can scavenge extra resources from every vehicle rekt™ t~~o make up for their resource penalty~~ because why not? OKW is a tough faction to play. No doubt about that and I don't think they're OP by any stretch of the imagination. That doesn't mean some of the perks and bonuses they had when they got 66% resources shouldn't be reexamined and changed now that they have 100% resources like every other faction. The fuel costs of some of their later units may need to be adjusted accordingly w/ these side costs introduced (which we already see in the patch notes w/ the KT cost coming down). In: Lobby

Is it really necessary? Is directional cover necessary? Crush is just another element of gameplay. And it makes sense for the same reason infantry cannot damage armor with small arms fire unlike many other RTS games. PS This topic doesn't even make sense since now both Axis factions mainline infantry have vehicle snares. So you're actually going to be able to better defend your blobs from crushes than before when OKW had no snare and Cromwells / M10s could just speed in, shake off Shrek shots, and murder everything. Another option is to just.... ya know, not blob so the crush is less of a threat. In: COH2 Balance

And I've been using the new decal so the awesome skins wouldn't look like junk. Under Graphics options. The reason Volks get more attention is that they completely dominate the meta at the moment. They shut down vehicle and tank play from the paper armoured Allied tanks. Rifles are a core unit, dedicating two Zooks makes significant impact on AI dps while Volks lose less DPS and are supplemented by other infantry types. Furthermore, German tanks are armoured and can afford some degree of maneuver even against Zookblob. Lastly, Werfer and Stuka are much more punishing blob control weapons than Allied counterparts (katyusha being the only stock one). Finally, Axis tanks are not required to flank, while allied ones are, and infantry held AT is the most flexible way to shut down tank flanks. Axis doesn't need to flank Shermans or Jacksons to penetrate so one of the most frequent causes of exposure to Schrecks (flank) doesn't apply to bazookas. Perfect answer. In: Lobby
Thread: What is USF answer to Koenigstiger26 Apr 2016, 05:09 AM You pretty much have to choke the life out of the OKW player before he gets the KT. Punish him in the early and mid-game so that he's forced to invest in medium armor to stay in the game. That way he'll never have the ability to stockpile the resources necessary for a KT without you wiping him off the map. If the game really drags and you know the KT is coming, you basically need to rely on Jacksons and a smattering of Bazooka infantry (Captain + REs). Don't forget you can pop the Jackson crew out and abuse pop cap. So rely on your Vet 3 Rifles w/ x2 BAR that should be alive to clear infantry, then about 2-3 Jacksons + Zooks and hopefully a 57 mm as well. When all else fails and you suck at this game like me, rely on the Calliope. In: COH2 Gameplay

No idea if it would work but, I figured to let you guys know. It's an interesting idea, and it would be fine for medium and heavy vehicles, but I think combined with the cloak ability, that'd make the Raketten too good at annihilating light vehicles and armor. Wouldn't it allow them to one-shot a T-70? I think they'd have to lose the cloak if you threw a Shrek on one of their crew. In: COH2 Balance
