Nerf the aura, and reduce the penalty for the command vehicle itself. |
that is the whole point of this mod preview to help us make revisions and try the ch anges before it actually gets patched into the live game. It gives more refinement to the process and all members of the community are involved.
Can you give us some thoughts behind some of the changes in this preview? I'm having a hard time understanding the reasoning. |
I feel like a lot of these changes nerf or buff units that were not really problematic in the first place. No one was really calling crew repair operations OP, were they? |
Was an HMG garrisoned 17-lber really that much of a problem? Seems kind of like a counter-intuitive and inelegant fix for 1 squad to randomly not be able to be garrisoned in 1 emplacement. |
In empty buildings, yes. It's when you add furniture and carpets that it stops happening.
Would the buildings you hole up in be empty? |
The biggest issue is unit overlap. There's really only minor differences between the Quad and the T-70 now. They fulfill much of the same purpose. |
Echoes in buildings isn't a bug - it was a change, and it's a good one. Why the hell would anyone think it was a bug? Doesn't it just make sense that their voices would echo in a building?
When you're inside a building, does your voice reverberate and echo too? |
Was brought up in Alpha, apparently it's intended design and is a weakness of the Croc. |
Hey,
So Sept 3 is changing the M5, which we all predicted would happen, but no one knew how it would happen. So M5 is losing its ability to reinforce with the quad mount upgrade. What do you think?
Personally, as an SU player, I am a bit salty about it. M5 is the Soviet's only way to reinforce outside of base. Other factions have other means to reinforce, but Soviets have one. Sure, I can choose to not upgrade quad-mount, but it was nice having a stable platform which protects itself that I can depend on, instead of just a dumb truck that I have to drag around the map. I for one hope they undo the nerf, but if they don't, then it's understandable and I'll just have to adapt. Maybe they can reduce the population a HT takes up so I can have two running around the map. |
And a lot of tanks share the same voice |
