This is a terrible idea. Relic is trying to move away from relying on call-ins, and although we are not there yet, making t3 and t4 available in one game was great. As said before, being locked out of half your units every game was not fun. Even t1 + t2 got changed so they are both affordable, so I'm afraid your opinion might be in the minority. Being locked out might be fun for you, but that is very subjective. I for one, love having tools to deal with any situation the enemy throws at me.
Also t-34/85s were never a problem. They're the only halfway decent generalist medium tank Soviets have. Why are they a problem again? Why fix what's not broken? |
As someone who uses prevalent amounts of KV-8s, crocs, and UCs, I'm really looking forward to these flame damage changes. Some people might say it's heavyhanded, but in reality, even if flame dmg was nerfed by 75% and it takes 4x longer to kill something, then in reality it's only a couple of seconds longer before moving on, so it sounds much more fair. (1s --> 4s if it's a 75% dmg nerf) (very general ballpark estimates but idea is still there) |

I'm in favour, so long as the three conditions below are met.
1 -Mirror the upgrade on the Sdfkz 251.
2- Give both halftracks higher damage and longer bursts on their main guns (being the M2 and the MG42) so that they're not useless until upgraded, and can still fulfill a combined arms role.
3- Slight speed increase to encourage using them to ferry troops.

I have an idea.
Remove reinforcement ability from HT.
Make it a separate upgrade for 30-60 munis. Quad mount upgrade is there too, below it. Choose one or the other.
BUT WAIT!
When you upgrade it w/ reinforce ability, it increases HP by 160.

I think he's talking about how every member in a Maxim squad runs back and takes their sweet time to pick up their MG if the gunner goes down, while for every other faction the MG magically teleports into the hands of the next guy and they keep running. |

If you look at raw performance, one might think KV-8 is "balanced," but the fact is it is so convenient to use that it has invaded coh2 meta. Every game with SU is building kv-8, and every game facing SU is about countering KV-8. In that sense, it is overperforming and could use a nerf. |
