I seriously DIG companies who manage to look away from numbers and profit margins for a split second and act like they are run by human beings instead of androids.
This type of naive "socialism" fits right into CoH2. |
I did not specify MISINFORMATION (not misleading information). I was mainly aiming at his ridiculous remarks on the financial situation of THQ, right before chapter 11. Whatever he said after that really didnt matter as it was no longer his concern, just like he shines in absence right now.
I am aware of the increasing popularity of SNF, whether Lynx has anything to do with that is debatable as the average "official CoH social media" follower probably already watched SNF combined with an increasing overall popularity of CoH due to all kinds of sales, but apart from that, putting links on social media is hardly organizing, nor does it seem like a job anyone can excel in compared to others...

Broadly speaking, people like looking at other people for our own wierd voyeuristic tendencies.
Dont you think facial expressions are an essential part of communication....
Position A is preferred over B, but the camera in the top right corner seems to work quite good as well. |
Bobby was/is a great CM because he's easily approachable, highly active in social media, and cares about the game. He's straight up and he was as transparent as he was allowed to be.
I've been organizing CoH events for over 4 years now, and I've never felt more supported than when Bobby came on as CM. He's always easy to get in touch with, responds quickly with no-nonsense answers, and he has a passion for gaming in general and for Company of Heroes in particular.
As you seem to know him quite well, this makes you the last person to judge him objectively. The community is more than just the known players, and to all those other players he seems a poor organizer and known for habitual sharing of misinformation. Next to that, people couldnt care less about social media. |
What, to SEGA? Or to us and in that case, why would the size of the cubicle make a difference?
Would he be more special if he had a vending machine in his cubicle or something?
The size of an office and the general position within a firm are somewhat correlated, yes. Judging by the size of that cubicle, the person working in it cant be in a very elevated position.
Still dont understand why people want THQLynx as the CoH2 community manager so desperately. |
Whats so special about THQLynx anyway? Looking at the size of that "office", his influence cant be too extreme.... |
Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks will be executive producers, which basically means they are lending their good name to the series, so hopefully it will still turn into something good.
Its quite hard to rank BoB episodes as one cant really discuss personal tastes, but I agree with most people here that the Battle of the Bulge episodes were very slow paced compared to the other ones. |
No.

Yes. Decreasing willingness to pay for static internet products enforces a different business model.
RoI is earlier and usually longer.
The very opposite is true for the first part as the revenues for a fixed price game will have an early peak and decline in time, whereas the revenues for the alternative will reach its peak in a later stage, but remains somewhat stable, just like you stated. |
tbh, i was absolutely unhyped before... and i'm slowly getting hyped right now :-)
Yes. That is why you have already posted over 200 posts on a forum that reads www.coh2.org............ |
i have a BASc. that took four and two thirds years to earn
no one will have the combination of work experience and skills they are looking for
its evident from the combination of skills they are looking for this is 2 jobs rolled into 1
its clear they don't know wtf they are asking for...
HR did a poor job on this posting... end of story.
There is nothing wrong with posting requirements of their ideal community manager. Whether they will find him/her is a different matter, but surely not impossible. Even the most simple jobs, as perceived by society that is, have the word "manager" in it these days...
Congrats on earning your BASc. Although, in many European countries, this title is not considered a university degree.
