Wehrmacht, usf bugs notwithstanding, is unplayable. Well, very difficult to play. Grenadiers are the worst infantry in the game, ffs cons wreck them as long as you aren't mentally handicapped. Mg42 just gets smoked out, unuseable. Panzergrenadiers come too late to save you from the infantry blob. Their strength is supposed to be in the late game but the Panthers DPS is abhorrent. The tiger gets slammed by comets and the new Su85, even su76 spam shuts down everything short of an elefant. Sure the scout car is cheap, but it's still bad. Pak is a good gun but it can't snipe infantry like the 6 pounder. Even if it could it wouldn't be able to stop the new penals from slapping you in the face. Panzer 4 is good but the Cromwell comes earlier and is the same for cheaper, but is markedly better at anti infantry with its capability to run troops over. The new t34 is better at anti infantry work and is much cheaper while being able to beat a panzer 4 on even terms. Stug spam helps sure but again not versus the bazooka-at rifle grenade blobs.. whatever. Wehrmacht needs help.
I suggest Grenadiers upgraded to a 5 man team, meaning their dps would be increased by .25, and their survivability as well. They would now be able to stand a chance vs Riflemen and tommys. Cons might need to be buffed a bit to compensate.
Maybe switch mg42 and grens in tech, and place panzergrenadiers in t1. That way Wehrmact could stop the steam roller blob a little easier.
Just buff the panther, it shoots too slow to be good. Reload minus half a second. Or moving accuracy to .70 so it could actually use its mobility as a tank hunter.
Increase scout car cost but also its cannons pen slightly so it's more viable as a light vehicle.

The Non-doc jeep is a terrible idea. As if the mortar wasn't enough wrecking mgs. Have you lost your mind? I don't mind if the USF can have their pershing in another doc just to please those that bitched about it back in the day when USF supposedly had no late just cuz they had no heavy armor.

you click on the Refund butten the tank will slowly roll his way out of the map when he is on the edge of your side then you will get only half of the price like why would you do this to a fucking pershing

I just got back into company of heroes with two geriatric friends. After a couple of months playing we are now reasonably competitive winning a little less than half the matches we play.
Now we're totally bias, we play exclusively as allies. In fact we each play just one faction and only 2v2 or 3v3. So we have a pretty narrow view of this balance patch.
Being old people we really don't mind losing, we'd rather lose and have a competitive game than win easily. I'd say we're our win/lose ratio is about the same since the balance patch. So what's the issue?
The game is utterly boring now, it's all about trying to control marauding blobs of infantry, because that seems to be the most valid strategy to win. At least at whatever level we're playing at. It sounds like axis players face the same issue which must be equally boring.
Recall piospam back in coh1? Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't fixing issue by penalizing pio squads in close proximity to each other.
To me this seems like something that would fix blobbing for both axis and allies and ultimately force players to use a wider variety of units.
The current balance seems to have had the opposite effect, it's just a blob-off. (type of map seems to effect how bad this is) It was like that before the patch, but before the patch we found we could force players to abandon blobbing. Not now.
exally the meta at 4v4 3 v 3 and even at 2 v 2 is artillery spam mortars into okw legt then stuka and artillery big guns of wehrmacht ... gg wp

Also, what is up with this? I'm not aware of people farming using the cheatmod, if they do then forgive me, but testing for bugs on late-game units in the normal game is anything but efficient. Why would Relic punish players for helping them improve the game? (We all know why but humor me.)

So, USF vehicle crews have been a great source of bugs ever since the release of USF. From popcap abuse, to on me bug to the latest combined arms bug.
Now, since relic appears to be resource poor in terms of QA hours i feel it will continue to be a source of bugs in future esp as more focus shifts to dow3.
So i have a simple suggestion:
Remove vehicle crews and crewing/decrewing mechanic entirely and give all usf vehicles 3 abilities:
Self repair (similar to t70 but repping more HP)
Critical repair (vet1)
Cap territory.
There. Same functionality. Less bugs. (The other 3 all have tested implementation and more importantly no bugs have been reported on them yet)

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. OKW is somewhat easy to use. OH on the other hand is difficult to play as 1v1. USF hands down is the easiest to play as 1v1. Strong riflemen that completely dominate grens and still do well against volks. The amount of upgrades for USF inf just wrecks OH inf. And the mid game is still to the adv to the USF. Sherman is more useful than p4. It can actually operate on its own to kill inf quite well yet p4 can't and can get threatened by single zook rifles. And the OH late game is non-existant for 1v1. Unless you play the pathetic 4v4 mode you won't see a panther "spam" lol. Tier 4 is still trash even with the cost reduction.

yestarday sow a game of HOI paul and helpinghans [HOI usf helping okw ]
early game he was preaty strrugling, helpinghans cutted his fuel out at first 5 min and only then HOI usf player started to coming back some how
there are alot of top players [1-90 ranks] i saw that usf lost from the early stages of the game so dont just spray your lies that usf is ez early game
