Crossing in the Woods wasn't that bad. I just got wrecked by a USF player when I was starting to learn and i was constantly trying to shift about my mg to a defensible position and the lack of heavy cover was driving me nuts and I couldn't lay down sandbags. And it took Relic 3 years to figure out that your so called "defensive" Ostheer faction should be allowed to lay down sandbags. Hell, I'd suggest that grens, pios, maybe even pgrens should be allowed to lay them down. The defensive construction abilities of Ostheer is pathetic. Come to think about it, USF has better access to mines than Ostheer since riflemen can lay them down since a ridiculous number of USF players select Heavy Cav off the bat.

Allies are much harder to play and much more micromanagement is needed. That is a real problem, u need to be a multitasking king.
Why that u will ask me?
Okay, here is an answer: U must lead many more weaker units at the same time while the German needs only to need 1 strong unit which can fight on more allied force units.

And dont forget u have to handle ur units like u have a child because they die easier too.

So a situation can be created that if u have your eyes on a front the German player can flank and destroy all, he can shoot with Stuka if you got your eye on a other place. Quite unfair.

I'm sorry for my bad English. Please correct me, if u can.

My suggestions are: Nerf Panther, i hate it: U have him down and he flees the battlefield in incredible speed. Dont forget: A Panther must be normally easily damaged from the side, but this case isnt exactly so in the game. But on the other hand allies are presented in a "realistic" style (Quantity).

Focus his infantry first and bleed his Victory Points as soon as possible. every time he drops a raken, capture it or wreck it. Try to coordinate an assault on his HQpanzer truck to deny him free repair and focus fire his sturmpio in order to wipe them. All of this before the KT hit the field. If done, he'll have hard time to repair it.

If he can field a KT, then the match has been much more close than you think.
My opinion: no more than 2 jacksons, otherwise you'll not have enough support around. 1 Stuart is key, its stun ability has great use vs big tanks since it doesn't need to penetrate. Never frontal attack or with smoke. Focus its support before the KT.
What can help fron stock option only:
Major reco run to situate the KT
2x Jacksons (no more)
1x Stuart for the stun ability
1x Sherman for the offensive smoke
Atnade
Zooks only if you can flank the KT
Backtiers T1 and build a m20 (no need to up the skirt, use it only to mine the roads)

No but really use the jackson... Like one Jackson and maybe a Pershing to eat a hit or two is all you need vs KT

You should be looking at why he got a KT in the first place, not how to counter it.

Because as USF you shouldn't be fighting KTs. That means your losing. Or it's 4v4. U kno what I'm sayin'?
