Tigers are OP apparently.. lol |
The reason Riflemen>Grens is the fifth Riflemen. One sniper shot turns the engagement in your favor. Gren, Gren, Gren, Sniper, Gren. Hug green cover, beeline LMG42 and build a Scout Car to counter the M20 coming for your Sniper. If you can't do this, l2p.
Tiger sniped by Jackson? Poor play. Jack sons paper armor and no smoke mean it can't pursue to finish off armor. If you played USF you would realize that Jackson only beats Tiger if the army supporting Tiger retreats it isn't there.
@QueenRatchet, thanks. Playing 200> ranked 1 vs 1 as USF really lets me cut through Axis fanboy nonsense. I don't mind Axis fans though, as long as they don't suck.
Rifle company messes up your theory. Nonetheless you're right. I'll play combined arms and manage 4 different units while you spam rifles. gg |
Are you all aware that the game is designed for Allies early game micro advantage vs Axis late game micro advantage? It doesn't sound like you are. Yes the early game is slightly easier for Allies but you all are acting like there are no counters at all.
tools to survive the early game against con-rifle spam= Scout cars, good mg placement, flame pios to deny charges, snipers, halftracks to support pushes, spam swagstruppen, Panzergrens to deny charges, s-mines, good gren micro. You all make it sound like the toolbox is empty when in reality it just takes some extra effort.
Plus you all know once LMGs hit the field grens become beasts for just 240 mp and 60 muni but that part is conveniently left out.
Guy who says Axis needs to tech like crazy probably doesn't have the Mech Assault commander.
What exactly is an infantry rush OP? You get the same amount of resources as the allied player so he shouldn't have more squads than you or you are floating manpower or messing up somewhere. Just spam Ostruppen right back at him and dodge molotovs and win, yay!
Late game advantage? You can't be serious. Current Soviet meta disagree with you. USF have the p4p TD Jackson now.
|
How are they outnumbered if they cost the same amount, or cheaper in the case of Riflemen? I'm curious.
And Tiger pushes USF back while Pak does damage. Tiger MP bleed, Grens advance while mopping up, Pak on over watch. If your that outnumbered late game you've lost units earlier, in which case it's l2p.
Because as you well know early game grens are easily beat by rifles and conscripts, thus the need for combined arms. Mortars, snipers, etc. USF and Soviets can just spam rifles and conscripts.
You're right, until the tiger gets sniped by the jackson hiding in the back. |
You have a force of Grens losing to Cons in the late game? Wow, this is bad.
-LMG42 Grens destroy Cons.
-Mortars destroy Maxims.
-Panzgrens defend your Mortars and Paks.
-Paks destroy tanks.
-Tiger destroys everything.
- Not when they're outnumbered (which they usually are.)
- Tigers are destroyed by the Jackson.
gooday. |
Comparing it to P47 results in quite obvious over performance of Stuka AT loiter.
P47 is completely unable to wreck armor in single pass even if both planes hit, which is extremely rare occuranece.
P47 doesn't target infantry and team weapons, killing them just as effectively, stuka does.
The stuka have also excellent tracking, it'll get to half HP moving IS-2 in a single pass, show me the same being done by P47.
Stuka does what P47 does, except better, cheaper and it does more of it.
One thing that P47 have for them is the sight range, but that is it.
I've had the P-47 destroy numerous tiger tanks in the one game. Not to mention the all exclusive ace. Your bias is ridiculous katitof.
Not to mention to pay 200 munis to shoot at at-guns and support infantry is plain broken. |
Don't worry tiger will no longer be around in a few days, and lol i don't even feel any regret-its been an underwhelming embrassment for quite some time. And no ,no way in hell is it better against tanks.Infact its trash vs enemy lategame armor.I'm not talking abt a-moving into enemy position,it can't even DEFEND a position without pak babysitting.
Nope. Especially when a cheap Jackson can snipe it to death. Or an IS2 steamrolls it.. meh.
The tiger is a kitten.

@Jason
Actually, given USF extremely heavy menpower units and rifles bleeding menpower like pigs, the fuel is never issue for USF player.
People always float fuel after first 2 vehicles, because there is just no way to sustain production with menpower bleed against opponent that isn't passive potato.
If you want jackson to have 150 fuel cost, you better give it 640 hp as well.
And, now sit down and listen to me carefully:
If a unit is losing to its HARDCOUNTER it does NOT NEED BUFF, its INTENDED that TANK loses to TANK DESTROYER.
Its simple concept, let it sink and stop being lolcake.
By that premise the Jackson could be free and work as 'intended' katitof. There is a concept of cost-effectiveness in this game. The best example is the cost of the KT. |
6 shots to kill a Tiger is 32 seconds for the Jackson assuming every shot was a hit and every shot was a penetration.
Time to kill a Jackson with a Pak? 12 seconds. And it WILL pen 100% of the time. Clearly this must mean the Pak is OP because its so cheap.....
1 Jackson is a SOFT counter for a Tiger not a hard counter. And further on your other point map control does not produce any more Manpower then not having map control. Manpower is a huge part of its tech cost and actual cost.
Let it go. You are wrong.
Dude the Pak is static.. Further Jacksons can quickly retreat out of danger compared to the tiger. Aswell as being significantly cheaper. This is not a good comparison.
And map control produces more fuel does it not? I know manpower is not affected, but more fuel = more jacksons late game.
I never said to nerf the jackson. I think I suggested a price increase to 150. Either that or a buff to the tiger. |
The jackson on the other hand puts almost the entirety of it's stats into only speed and AT power. Even it's health and armor are lower then most vehicles of it's tier. It's only role is in destroying tanks and it's cost reflects this limited role.
I still think its a bit cheap (125 fuel) for it to be able to destroy Ostheers' best tanks. Furthermore I understand the tiger has more survivability, but its role can be fulfilled by the Pz4 or even Stug. Maybe you're right and the problem lies in the Tiger not Jackson..
Thanks for the reply. |
