The Bulldozer Sherman is the USF s version of a Brumbar with a turret and has more armor than the regular Sherman tanks. (Someone correct me about its stats if I am wrong)
240mm Artillery: This is the USF's heavy artillery which is very powerful and not to be underestimated. Plus, the shells come in at random intervals.
As a USF player who happens to be on the receiving end of the Panzerfaust, its really balanced in my opinion. It just matters of awareness that grenadiers can fire it off anytime the light vehicles get in the way.
Besides, snipers would barely survive the oncoming M20s if the Panzerfaust gets changed.
So? Plenty of good WWII games have similar units. Also their stats, build time and abilities would be different making them distinct choices to make.
You sound like those people that were against new units or the Pershing tank. But guess what? they have been added to the game and players are using them.
I could see the Panzer III series to have a role in the game as a light tank since it would be more armored than a Stuart.
However, the T-26 just wouldn't be suitable. Not only is it really inferior to the Panzer III, but it is a slow tank with an armor of a M20 Utility Car. It's not really an ideal light tank for the Soviets to use. Besides, the T-70 already fulfills that role of harassment.
They should also get their riflegrenade ability when garrisoning any building, not just fighting positions.
I like this idea, it gives more options to the USF player and allows the possibility of the USF to have an advantage in urban maps and allows a grenade option until the Riflemen hand grenade upgrade is completed.
Well, I haven't faced off a King Tiger for a long time, but my idea of responding to the King Tiger is to have two Shermans, one Jackson, a single 57mm anti-tank gun, and/or a Stuart to have the useful abilities of stunning the King Tiger or damaging its engine.
The problematic part is that it takes up a chunk of population, but this is what I need if I expect a King Tiger or a Tiger Ace.
The idea is to have an anti-tank gun as the long-range firepower with the support the Jackson to kill or chase it off. The two Shermans and the Stuart are a distraction to keep the King Tiger busy.
I would also suggest mines from the M20 in the lieutenant's tech-tree, but it would require an additional 50 fuel cost to the USF player. So there would be an issue with that as well.
This is my suggestion, though, it would be best if you just try to hamper the OKW's ability to produce such a beast by knocking out the trucks before all three have been built.
Now I don't know if this will helps since I am a 4v4 player...
They seem to come around the time I hit tier 2, and at this stage in the game wehr doesn't seem to have anything that can capitalize on the fact that the enemy spent his resources on the emplacement. At least OKW can get a field gun or a luchs to punish the enemy. Meanwhile, good luck approaching any points that the enemy holds, because the mortar can fire anywhere on the map. 2 wehr mortars can't seem to kill it before they die themselves and if you unpack, fire, pack and move, by the time you can fire again the brit mortar is already repaired.
How to people deal with this? Flame HT maybe?
Use a flame haltrack to splash some fire onto that emplacement, if the British player has an anti-tank gun/Bofors/AEC. A mortar halftrack would be recommended since it can fire on the move and it is mobile enough to dodge the raining death the British have over anyone else.
I won't stop there, but the mortar halftrack has a flame barrage ability so it could burn away at the emplacement's health. Though you have to be careful, there might be an AEC to catch you off guard so expect a response and send a unit to check on the damage occasionally.
The health of the conscript individual transfers onto the health of a Guards squad.
Ex.
If there is a single conscript model who took damage, merging into a Guard unit, the conscript's damage also affects the Guards. So in other words, the health bar takes into account of the conscript's damage and adds it with the Guard unit.
My last and still my favorite was Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai. That was innovation right there, combining open field gun warfare to the traditionalist age of the sword was an impressive for me at the time.
Rome 2, well it sort of made me say I am okay with it, but the governing system is better than Shogun 2.
I would get Total War: Warhammer since I have a hard on for both the Fantasy and the 40K universe. However, I know my computer would die trying to play the game.
