Conclusion was fair. I would only assume von probs couldn't contibrute Much into the discussion due to the fact it was DevMs problem. All he could say was he could of possibly win (as he has said).
I do think AE was rude but didn't mean it, I can't blame him the chat was so unbelievably cancerous I had chemotherapy afterwards.
Edit: I do feel Von felt shut down in the discussion, that's what is the main problem.

I had to try out the new tiger with blitz on a road( and at vet 3), yeah...even through I agree with the speed change its stupidly fast with blitz on. On that note, are their any plans to change IS2s vet one ability?
B4 is something people are going to avoid more often, It really simply isnt good enough to warrant being built. Far too long for the second shell to fire, damage isn't a WOW when it hits anymore, scatter is horrendous to a point the first shell just provides a warning to move for the second shell (and have plenty of time to do so).
Something needs to be fixed about it. |
Tried out the new B4 again. Seems fine to me except for one thing, the dam thing takes far too long to fire its second shot (about 8-10 seconds). No sane player will ever keep their units within the area. If it delt full 640 damages, yeah k but now it deals only half original damage, its just to long. Make around 5-6 seconds (just shorter than it is atm). |

I also hope when your given the scope to fix the panther (considering your changes) that you can change the pershings health. I can't help shake the feeling of it being delt with in 4 shot and the pershing having to rely on it's double tap to survive.
Also, I have a gut feeling the panther will be quite formidable in larger team games (as they are quite common). Just wish their were people to play with, ai arnt that great. |
After playing around with the elefant and panther a little longer, why would you go tier 4 and just get a panther rather than the elefant? Its strange to me because your making the panther a advance medium/heavy hunter when its the elefants (while being more of a area denial) mainly due to the mobility the panther has.
What seals the deal is the 'premium' price for call-ins, with the new panther just seems more practical than the elefant once you hit tier 4.
And again, the elefant pop is also 20.
Edit: until you reach tier 4, the elefant cost 900 manpower and 306 fuel.

Well considering everybody is talking about infantry, I jumped into using the
big beasts.
The tiger 1 and IS2 are more dominant in a good way. They seem to be able to hold their own against almost all armour units all the way up to the super heavies (considering most units have 800 or less health).
The elefant. I found the he barrage funny considering its using the ballistic shots (thought it would be like the jagtigers) still very useful considering it can go through world objects (can it support team and mortor pits, yay). Mediums with 640 health take 3 shots while the rest stay the same can go both ways, can iver come back and bite you on the ass or vet the ele even further. Overall I think its fine.
ISU. This guy is just weird. While I find it almost comical that the turret elevates significantly, it fires ballistic shots (what has been said). One problem, the travel time of these rounds do allow reaction time which means a: infantry can move (I think its slower than the kv2 rounds) and B: light vehicles can dodge way to easily as well as catching some KV2 limp dick syndrome.
The ISU concrete round is excellent now, worth a dam (the animation firing the concrete round while toggled in he mode is quite funky) but overall, I dont think its worth it with the he rounds changed.
The kv2 still limp dick rounds when on any elevation like a slant or cliff (or firing at something that is) but the vet one tear down is nice.
Kv1 is an improvement overall, like it.
Conscripts are awesome and demos are actually decent.
Panther I think should have more accuracy over damage, I believe the damage is a bit much especially the amount it delivers after reaching vet 2 (the rof buff).
P.s ISU is still 20 pop cap.

Like the changes, only 3 things I dont like.
1: Why would I want to lay a demo when a mine will suppress and take 2 models for 30 muni without me having to stay vigilant?
2: If mark target is disabled once the plane is shot down, I think this may become useless verses OKW.
3: Most outstanding point is the increase damage of the panther. I agree it needs this against advance medium but look, anything that has the name heavy tank with 800 health to be 4 shot by a medium tank should not be called a heavy. 2 prime examples are the kv8 and the Pershing, especially the pershing.
P.s these are things just off the top of my head. |
The kv2 problem is that their are far more useful commanders and units than it as well as being heavily map dependent therefore isnt the best option 99% of the time.
The only thing its good at is shooting over shot blockers granted that they arnt higher than the gun. 300/180 armor and absolutely lackluster vet (wish it gained some reload vet for roaming considering its 11.13 sec).
The outstanding factor for the KV2 is when its placed on sloop or on a cliff, the shots will always fall short like a limp dick ( I posted a video a long time ago showing this). |
