Thread: 251 Bulletin secret health modifier 30 Jul 2020, 10:21 AM I didnt know ill get so invested into looking at AE or how I ended up here (especially bulletins) but stubble across this. The recruit bulletin also has a health modifier instead of a rotation modifier (one being shown is the veteran bulletin), also the speed modifier is 0.01 higher than the m5. Also, I not sure but I cannot see the 4% kv1 armor bulletin or the Kv8 speed and acceleration bulletin. P,s I know its small and dosnt make a difference whatso ever but still a bug. In: COH2 Bugs

IS2/Pershing/Tiger and KT got nerfs last patch while the KV2 got a slight veterancy buff. So your complaint about the KV2 getting worse with the recent balance updates makes no sense and is actually the complete opposite of the truth. The Kv2 really only received its vet back after all of them was unintentionally removed Kv2 outdated old stats/vet At post 150, it specifically states only the speed was replaced for the health bonus instead. Change log I only discovered it because I swear it use to have a absolutely stupid turret rotation (vet 2 was 50% and vet 3 granted a further 20% I recall). Thats the impression the 76mm/M4C gives me hence why I think swapping its vet around would enforce its roll. To elaborate further, considering you get the 76mm/M4C Sherman for mainly for its At ability with alright ai, if you loose a vet 3 Sherman you would really dont want to pick the 76mm/m4C Sherman again because of it being somewhat glass cannon. Because at some point I am certain the Easy8 radio net was working differently. As for radio net for shermans some other vehicles also provide the bonus like the ambulance if I remember correctly. Not a real guru of Ae but as far as im concerned, I cant see any differences. And yes in game, the E8 works as all other shermans do and of course, around the t70 also. The radio net does work when any allie medium or heavy is in the radios as it states to target heavy, medium and the t70 specifically. In: COH2 Balance

So I sherman will get the bonus regardless of type of vehicle is around it. On the other hand they Easy8 will get the bonus only if it near another easy8 or a couple of other vehicles. No radio intercept works on the E8 when any heavy and medium vehicles are within 35m. Whats really weird is that radio intercept works when around one light vehicle only, the t70. Literately states in the attribute editor to work only around the t70 (in terms of light vehicles). In: COH2 Balance

Comparing units without context is completely pointless. The one ability combined arms makes the 76mm shoot incredibly fast (ap/hvap: 2-2.2/3.5 at vet 2). Speaking about out of context, the soviet Sherman is the same and absolutely should be included. I just put the soviet variant into the table because it has a different name. Edit: the only difference between the m4c and the 76mm is that the 76mm has a scatter offset of 0.3 compared to the m4cs 0.25, besides that they are the same. Scatter offset now in the table for all vehicles. In: COH2 Balance

It's in a useless commander and it's AI power is laughable and you can't field them vs Panthers, only P4s and if you do field them vs P4s, you're better off getting Jacksons because of panthers and heavies. I completely gave up on E8 when I had a pack of 3 E8s vs solo, out-of-place Panther, on close/medium range and E8s bounced around 6 shots out of 9 or 10 on Panther, while a constantly moving Panther almost took out my E8. Basically to field them vs P4s is an overkill and late game blunder and to field them vs infantry is complete BS. Jacksons and combined arms >> E8 and combined arms. There is no point to pick a lackluster commander only to get a good but identity-missing E8. I think what i find interesting the most between the E8 and 76mm is just how impactful the fire rate is. Think of it for a sec, without the 76mm fire rate and the commander in mind, the Ai of both tanks is near the same while the E8 being better stat wise for 15 more fuel but the 76mm just feels right. Idk I think they both have an identity crises but the E8 is more apparent because of the commander hes in and its long reload. Mayby more can be discussed why the 76mm works while the E8 dosnt. I feel shifting that penetration bonus to vet 2 will allow the M4(160 long range pen) to bully Panzer 4s a bit too early. My title is abit misleading now that im thinking about it. Prehaps I had bad rng rolls with the 76mm but i just dont understand its unusual tank to infantry performance. In: COH2 Balance
