They are unique. In Miragefla's mod, they don't reduce long range DPS, so I would assume the same for the balance mod until we get hard stats.

Don't think so. A capable non-doctrinal infantry unit with a weapon upgrade for soviets will actually make all commanders without infantry call-in or ppsh upgrade much more interesting. This could change the soviet commander meta quite a bit and pave the way for new tactics.
Shocks without flamer and satel charge but with smoke grenade, strong close up grenade and armor 2 are still a whole different approach, I wouldn't say they are too similar, but made for a different playing style.

Make it Panzefasut 150. We have Sturmtiger in this game I wouldn't be surprised to see Pzfaut150.
Historically speaking I figured the 100 was just right since it came into production a month before the Battle of the Bulge which it can be inferred the OKW are inspired by. The 150 was by March 1945. Sure Relic doesn't care about precise accuracy that much but no need to encourage them  |

I think a big consequence of STG volks is considerably imporoved team weapon clearing. Getting close to MG's and mortars seems to punish the Allies more, especially since the volks can then steal the abandoned weapons. This is definitely a change for the better and encourages more flanking/aggression. ...but both sides can do that already just fine.
Though with StG Volks, it'll certainly be much easier for OKW to do so instead of having to use the expensive Falls/StG Obers/Sturms for the task. |

Hm? It's smaller than M10, SU-76, M15A1, Stuart, and it's the same size as Luchs, T-70 & AEC. Pretty sure only the glass cars like Kubel and WC51 are smaller than that. |
