If you want the most accurate and up to date stats you have to extract them from the game files. The ones in the attribute editor don't get updated as often as they should. For example Jackson 's DPS is showing its old value.
Thanks for the tip. In the Stormtroopers' case though hopefully they didn't not actually flat out remove their cooldown bonus from vet since it's not stated in any of their patch notes...but as we all know, ninja changes are hardly unlikely. |
It's right guys, I got this for ya. The attribute editor comes to our rescue!
Stormtroopers have a 0.75 received accuracy modifier, Panzergrenadiers have 0.8.
Stormtroopers reinforce at 33.75 manpower, Panzergrenadiers at 42.5.
Their weapons are alike, though Panzergrenadiers have 1.2 increased accuracy while Stormtroopers have 1.15 (the 15% accuracy increase in the latter's case is certainly for the purpose of increasing lethality from the March Deployment's purposes - it is present on virtually all frontline infantry units).
Despite coh2.org's veterancy guide, the attribute editor is actually telling me that the sum of the total vet bonuses are really alike - the difference is when they get them. The Stormtroopers receive the +40% accuracy and +25% bundled grenade range at vet 2, then the -25% weapon cooldown and -29% received accuracy at vet 3. Panzergrenadiers get the same cooldown and received accuracy at vet 2, and the same accuracy and bundled grenade range at vet 3. |
-I'll rather have a more meaningful unit on the LT. Make it something a bit more different rather than just a Riflemen with sprint (on vet) and a Thompson/bar
Me too. Captain's On Me! and Supervision abilities are interesting enough, LT is pretty drab. |
Or, it could just be random
Anyone who didn't get in just failed to perform the proper rituals and prayers demanded by RNGesus |
I think that has more to do with that they're not allowed to use the red cross or something, I have no idea why they wouldn't use it otherwise. CoH1 also had medics with the proper red cross before release, but they changed it to the Swiss flag when it released for some reason.
Yeah, the Red Cross' logo is protected and they take it pretty seriously so I'd expect that would be the reason as well. |
Goliath will be fun, while we are at it lets add Anti Tank Dogs for Stalin's army.
But I don't want to shoot the doggies |
Would like to see the LT pushed back by adjusting its cost.
Edit: Not sure this will fix it. They'll just build another riflemen group before the LT.
Well, that could at least fix M20 rushing. It's definitely a bit much. |
Ew no, everyone hated lets take a stroll in the park while jerry shoots at us Brits.
Yeah, those movement penalties were awful. |
The tanks I have seen 1 shot squads in CoH2 recently: Tiger Ace, King Tiger, Sherman 105, Sherman with HE, T34/85, ISU-152, IS2
Tanks I have seen 1 shot squads in CoH1 recently: None
I also remember playing a game as OKW recently against a Soviet, his T34/85s drove out of FOW, both shot at a 6 man, vet 4 Panzerfusilier, and it died instantly... this type of non-sense bothers me so much. To avoid getting wiped I would literally have to retreat instantly. Why am I being punished for no reason? Losing a vet4 6 man squad in 1 second is not skill or a mistake on my part. It's just stupid and punishes players for no apparent reason
Well, they didn't about six months ago (Except KT and ISU, they still could).
Now if they don't it's practically a miracle. AND I FUCKING HATE IT NOW |
i tested the oorah vs sprint and i was able to cover cca 50% more distance with orrah than with sprint. if sprint was twice the speed than they would travel the same distance under the effect of their abilities, so its faster than sprint but not twice as fast.
Its double the bonus, not double the total effectiveness of their movement speed's summed up. You also thought of the sole advantage of Oorah! over Sprint that I personally couldn't come up with - getting to a far spot faster. That being said, I remain certain I would take Sprint over Oorah! in a combat situation any day as it is far more valuable to get to a distance that the unit needs to be ASAP when being shot at. |
