The StuH was a great mid game anti infantry tank, but did not possess squad wiping abilities and was not overly strong (allied AT guns would 3 shot it).
Well, neither did most call-ins in CoH2 aside from a few ridiculous examples (ISU-152, please stop this, it's just silly) until about six months ago
I MISS THAT SO FUCKING MUCH |
-XP is only gained if damage is inflicted. This means that units like HMGs and Mortars will only gain XP if they damage or kill targets, not of they contributed in, say, suppressing a target or even absorbing damage taken from the enemy; units that TAKE tons of damage won't gain experience, not unless they were also giving it in the meantime.
I'm pretty sure they do receive experience from taking damage as well - doing damage gives 75% of it into experience, taking damage gives 25% of it into experience from what I recall and I don't think that has ever been changed since. Rarely, I have seen a basic infantry unit taking indirect fire in the backline get ranked up. |
SPs are fine aside from the odds of them being squad-wiped. I've vetted them up with good micro of them a fair amount, as it should be - actually keeping them all alive is the real hard part. Honestly, anything with reasonable AT potential vets fine - vehicles that do AI however, I think could do with reduced XP requirements across the board. I see full vet AI infantry units all the time but full vet AI vehicles are exceptionally rare.
I would very much like HMGs across the board get their XP gain compensated for suppressing units making them less accurate against those units, like getting a chuck of XP from suppressing units. They're the weapon teams at the most risk to get their XP with having to be closer to the front to do their stuff AND they reduce their own XP gain when they do their stuff, it just don't feel right. |
Sprint provides double the movement speed bonus of Oorah! to compensate for the duration difference. Personally I'd regard the former as more useful as the higher speed bonus lets units that are going to be in a pickle out of it ASAP or allows CQC units to minimize being out of optimal range and more effectively slip in before the enemy shoots them down. It's rare you'll be both be chasing and running away to make the higher duration on Oorah! more useful - if you're just doing one of them, do it faster.
I would also not regard Tactical Movement and For Mother Russia as really comparable - being a third of the price is a giant difference in usability.
For example would you take an accurate small barrage for 60 munitions or an accurate much larger barrage for 180 munitions with all else being alike? The larger barrage would be more effective when it hits a large blob but the much smaller barrage gives you far more chances to hit at all and is more cost-effective against non-blobs. It'd be claiming "Oorah! sucks because Tactical Movement is the like same thing except for all of your infantry for 4X the price" but I of course wouldn't do that because one is a still pretty different doctrinal ability and not always will you really need all your infantry to move faster. |
It looks like Salior Moon which was/is... well, Im gonna stop here. Beter for everyone
I haven't watched Kill la Kill (I really don't watch much of anything) but what I hear it's more of a big parody of something like Sailor Moon. |
BAR's can fire on the move and I believe have slightly better close range DPS.
They're A LOT better close-range, but odds are fairly good the map will make easier to just right-click cover and pewpewpewpew from there instead of closing in.
Also, you might as well save some fuel... |
So way too late for this then?
|
Selected by RNG, and causing a lot of drama.
We certainly got a good explanation here.
...So that's how they'll be getting their RNG fix if they're going to tone down the plane crashes.. |
I registered quite late and got in, I don't think it was first come first serve. Quite frankly, I don't think being around the longest qualifies anyone for anything of its own right.
Oh, they must of let me in the hopes of making the thing a bit easier on scrubs when it comes out. |
Not completely "ignore" but they did have a bonus accuracy agains cover.
Well I'm sure that was a factor as to why they broke the game after the Match Deployment. |
