To make life easier for Fichten, we'll be keeping this thread clear of off topic posts.
Oh, we're polling with replies? And I was sitting here waiting for the poll to open. |
Like I said. Double DSHK and mines can do wonders despite other 3 abilities are not that useful.
Maybe we should upgrade it to meh instead of shit? Iunno, if I talk about this anymore I'll look like I'm actually arguing. |
Nope. Royal arty is fun to play but it's shit.
OST Storm doctrine is really fun to play but it's not impressive.
NKVD is shit but again, its fun to use it.
Or maybe this way.
DSHK and mines are awesome. 120, M42 and tank traps are close to being useless (although I manage to get vet3 M42 almost always and in this particular replay it dealt more damage than SU85 )
I more meant saying it's shit and while saying its use smoothly won top 50 AT matches, especially when as the Soviets as we all know. |
You'd be amazed how funny this doctrine is (despite being shit ). And with such build and doctrine we (2v2) were able to win smoothly agasint top 50 Axis AT many times.
Those are kinda contradictory statements... |
Trip wire flares are good, and I think it is fine on Cons and engis, but it's ridiculous that guards, shocktroops, and penals get trip wire flares too. Not enough variety in this game. Replace it with something more useful that fits the unit better. Likewise, they should change the capping point bonus on soviet tanks, and not every Ostheer squad should get healing thing either.
Yeah, it's not horrid, it's just painfully redundant as the vet 1 of every Soviet infantry unit.
...whereas the Wehrmacht's Medkit is somewhat less painfully redundant in return for having a terrible cost-effectiveness ratio. But yeah, they also shouldn't all be using it. |
I wanted this since the first game. Watching troops stand outside windows firing at walls for a minute is pretty silly. But...
It couldn't be effectively implemented in the current game, if I'm understanding you correctly. It would require a lot of new programming and it would radically change the balance. I do want them to think about overhauling it for future CoH games though. |
Well then this bug gives me an excellent idea, swap what makes Luchs hold fire applying only to its main gun with the prioritize vehicles' function for applying to the entire unit.
Because I shouldn't have to waste my Puma's main gun's rounds against infantry just to make the MGs shoot.
I think I've experienced that bug myself, I think it happens if you choose hold fire before hitting stealth. Probably a similar bug to when you have a unit that's holding fire/prioritizing vehicles "change weapons" (like having a ZiS-3 fire a light artillery barrage) and causing the hold fire/prioritize vehicles have to be reapplied after that to work right. |
(See what I did there.... )
You misspelled sails?

Inc nades throw faster and don't require side teching.
Incendiary grenades definitely have a farther range as well, I think by 5. |
The medical industry is a bit overdue with the cure for cancer, so I don't think they qualify.
Movies do get delayed, but usually long before the general public is paying attention. Google "movie release date pushed" to see a few current ones. I keep a teaser poster for "Titanic" on my wall which says "SUMMER" in big bold letters (it was released theatrically in December) as a reminder that things do not always go as planned, but even so they can still turn out well.
I've also heard the term "development hell" quite a lot around movie production. Maaaayyyybbe doesn't count since usually they're mostly going "Let's make that" and get stuck from there compared to video games usually releasing plenty of preliminary footage before going vaporware. |
